View Full Version : Ticket sales not specifying row/seat numbers?

I bought 2 reserved seats in the presale this morning -- and I thought it was a little odd that Ticketmaster only specified the section ("Section 7") but did not list a row or seat number -- anyone know what's up with that?

My ticket master says they aren't even on sale yet!!!!

call ticketmaster and have them explain your order to you.
go back and review your order through the "my ticketmaster" tab - click on order details and it now shows your row and seat numbers.

Thanks for the tip, abra -- I'm currently getting a "We're sorry, we're unable to process your request. Please try again." message when I click on Order Details for this specific purchase, so I'll try later -- but thanks!!

Thats so weird because when i try, right after the part you have to type that weird word in that is generated, the next page shows the section, row and seats of the tickets.

If you still get the error message just e-mail Ticketmaster- there is a Link on their Website for problems.
I got an e-mail back in about an hour

you should get an email that confirms the sale - including sect, row, & seat numbers

Just an update... I did e-mail TM, but I was eventyally able to view the order details later in the afternoon, and thus cancelled the e-mail inquiry. And the e-mailed order confirmation I received right after the purchase transaction also lists the section number only, not the row/seat numbers.
CountryGurl, I really expected to see things exactly as you described, and I'm sure that's how it's working now, but that's not how it worked at 10am yesterday. Just another (in a very long line of) TM screwups.
TM also changed the "convenience charge" and "facility charge" amounts (increased them, of course) between the time they accepted my order and the time they finally posted the "order details." Fortunately I have a printout of the order screen, showing the charges that were in effect at the time of the order, and thus the amount they are authorized to charge my credit card... can't wait to see what happens next! ;-)

If you ordered GA tickets, that could explain why there is no seat or row. Otherwise you should call ticketmaster and speak with a live person and have them explain your order to you.
