We have companion parking & car camping. If the companions get there first, can they park in their companion spot, and walk over to the car camping entrance and be allowed to walk in, pick a camp spot, and wait for the other car to show up?

I dont think so.. Usually its first come first serve with the RV, so i would assume with the car camping you cannot get a spot until the vehicle that will be occupying the spot is there. Check the website m sure it will tell you.
It may be possible if you have the camping ticket or its under your name.

I've been all over the website and can't find the answer. I do have the camping ticket and it is under my name. But thank you for responding.

From the Camping Rules page:
Your car along with as many people or tents as you can fit in that spot (as long as it's not against the rules) is fine with us.
One car per spot is required- NO EXCEPTIONS. You may not occupy a car camping spot without a car in it. You may only have one car in each car camping spot. No saving spots, arrive together to camp next to each other.

Susan,
So you cannot go get a spot unless you have the vehicle that will occupy the spot with you.
