Well, from many ticketing places they told us ebay was safe.. and that they would back us up if it turned out fraud.. the lady we bought it from for $434 turned out to be a fake.. she just took our money..

Ebay is REALLY good about getting your money back. Call them, I've be frauded on Ebay before. Actually in my case it went through paypal and it was paypal's responsibility to take care of. I spoke with them and they requested proof of delivery from the seller (since the seller had put on eBay that they had shipped it, liars). Of course the seller never responded, and paypal then credited my account. Worth a shot to get your money back at the very least!

I wasn't sure of the process. But I always heard it was easy. Still sucks that, that happened!

Apparently we are supposed to get our money back but who knows.. it only happened today and I had a feeling it was a bad idea.. & we will contact paypal since it went thru them.. thank you for everyones advice!! hopefully we find a new car camping spot!

I have been trying to find a car capmping spot on here and every other site for two weeks. I too got scammed, had the second one fall thru at the last minute while I was driving to pick them up.

Maybe going in on one with someone else is a solution?

Did you get your money back?? There are many people who are personally selling them on craigslist.. I just found one but he sold it for $250.. sucks!
