When does the line start?

they advise not arriving early in the CAMPING RULES/FAQ section:
Camping lots open: Thurs 4/26 8am thru Mon 4/30 10am.
Please DO NOT come any earlier. We don’t have the staff to let you in and the local law enforcement won’t let you park on the roads leading into the venue. Please respect the neighbors in this residental neighborhood.

The rules have been the same every year. Up until last year they always started letting RV's in early. Last year we went on time and were about 50 rigs back in the line before they opened.

I would think the whole mile radius thing will be the indicator of if you can get in early. I'd say go when you feel like going and they either will let you pass or they won't...but probably not too much earlier than 8 I'd imagine. Worst case scenario is they say come back later.

Who knows what they are going to do. After last year's waiting around until 6pm and the cops chasing everyone away from parking on the streets I'd say plan on lining up right at 8am.

Have several friends that say they have connections and will be able to get in to camping on wednesday. I'm curious to see how this works for them. They are all in EL Dorado 1 50 amp. I can't even see them getting close to the venue on wed. We will find out soon enough!

Each year we went, no matter how early, there was a few RVs set up in the middle isle and nobody around. They were part of radio stations or something. Like the K-Frog airstream bar.

Yeah so true. I know they didn't win anything. One of those "friend of a friend " deals. Word spreads fast if RVs start getting in though.
