So I just got my ED I pass and wristbands. After reading the Welcome Guide I'm still not sure I understand. From what the map shows in the guide, every RV enters through the RV Toll Lanes at 13A? That means ED I, ED II, International all come through the same gate? That sounds like a giant "Cluster F***" Anyone see anything that shows something different? I know every year previous each camp area had a specific entrance.

My g/f and I were in Palm Desert last Sunday and decided to go by the Polo Grounds to do a little recon. Some things have definately changed. The main road coming in off of Monroe is now paved with asphalt about half way in (previously mudd). We drove in and checked things out. The area where EDII is located is completely green grass, previous years it was always dead. Same with International. The clubhouse at the West end of EDI was open and they were having an event going on. Not sure if it will be open for SC. The whole place looked really good, green grass everywhere, but who knows if it will still be after the next two weekends of Coachella.
I haven't recieved the package yet. What (or where) is 13A?

I scanned the map, but cant figure out how to upload it. Any help? 13A is on the farthest South/West corner of the property. 52nd and Madison.
WOW. It's a mess in the make'ns I hope it not a reply of last year with the totally gridlocked roads.

Just got the parking map today. You're right. Looks like they want all RVs to enter at the same gate. ED1 always entered from Monroe onto Avenue 51. They may be thinking this is the easiest scenario for RV/campsite traffic. Thursday is going to be crazy!

Remember back in the day when the Clubhouse was open for business? Food, drinks and dancing. Wish they would bring that back. That was fun! Wonder why Stagecoach doesn't do that anymore.

Where exactly is the Cantina? Is it at the Clubhouse? If not is the Clubhouse going to be open?

if you read the booklet it really only states if your having your rv dropped off they need to check in at toll lanes (13a). doesnt really say all rvs go through here. guess we will find out when 1000's of rvs are there. they usually have the streets marked pretty well with signs on where to go

We'll be there ready to go in when the gates open at 8am. It should be interesting.

We always go up the 15 and out the 10. The 60 throught MoVal and the Badlands can get really ugly.

you really are doing more to make people confused than anything else.

It usually is always very green grass, but then come coachella. Coachella is why it is always dirt by the day of Stagecoach. This year it will probably be bad because Coachella is 2 weekends.

I figured the same. Hopefully with rain forecasted for the first weekend of Coachella, maybe the grass will get a little help. But honestly, two weekends of Coachella....the grass is going to be destroyed.
