Hi. First time to this site. First time to stagecoach. It's my best friends 30th birthday and we are super excited.
I basically would love some ideas for our game plan.
Staying not to far and we have a car. Not sure if it's best for us to get dropped off or leave our car in the parking lot. So we can grab our chairs or any belongings and have a cooler. I'm hearing different things about parking and leaving your car and ins and outs. We are staying all three days.
Any thoughts on the best way to do this festivity if not staying on the campsite and have our own car would be great!
We want to party !!!!!!
Also, is it suggested that u bring chairs in or just kicking back on the lawns is fine enough. Thanks!!!!

Definitely get dropped off at the festival as opposed to onsite parking. You can't bring a cooler in though. DEFINITELY bring in (camping) chairs. You will need them. Don't try to sit close to the stage, you will be packed in tight and really uncomfortable. Bring in a backpack with some pants and a sweater, it gets really cold at night. You can't take in water or food, so have cash!

Im definitely not a newbie to the festival but i am to staying offsite!! I know this is probably somewhere on the site but does anyone know if they are still letting people bring in empty water bottles to fill up in the festival??? Is it one per person? What I do know is im going to be spending A LOT more money on alcohol than ever without our campsite!!!! :P

I was allowed to bring an empty nalgene bottle last year to use at the water refill station. the water stations are pretty much a sink with a water hose connected to it , but believe me, with how hot it gets you`ll be thankful for it. Plus you get to save more money for beer!

I think it was last year (maybe the year before) when I tried to bring in a sealed water bottle i was told to drink it now or pour it out. I may have just had a jerky group of security peeps. There reasoning was that people have figured out how to get the cap off without breaking the seal...so I wouldnt risk it...I did read that empty plastic bottles were ok to bring in to refill.

Last year sealed water bottles weren't allowed, only empty ones. Although some security allowed an occasional one in.

Honestly I would take a taxi with icechest with beer and water. Make friends with someone camping and keep ice chest there. People are pretty cool give them a few beers and there cool. Haha. And I would just suggest a blanket inside

Yes, year before last (2010) sealed water bottles WERE allowed.

Feel free to give me a jingle, our group can let you store your ice chest at our spot (no, we don't need any compensation!)

If you are drinking ANY alcohol definitely get dropped off, bring a back pack for a light jacket and or long pants, the temperature drop can make it chilly, especially when you leave and walk back for the night.
You can bring an empty container or water bottle to fill up, they will have a few "watering Holes" so you can fill up.
As suggested before chairs to sit on and definitely no need to sit up front, WAY too crowded!!
And last thing ENJOY!!!!

2 prior Coachella weekends pretty much leave us Stagecoach folks with dirt rather than lawn.
Plus those cowboys like to chew tobacco and spit.:eek::mad: I highly recommend chairs and shoes.
Message board love right there! You won't find it anywhere else!

Speaking of that, I bought a new one this year at Target and I think it will be even better than the cheapy plastic ones from previous years! It's a Brita one with the built in filter. When it's hot and there's free water, you don't care if it's filtered or not but I couldn't pass up this deal for $8.50!

We lost a really nice water bottle last year. I recommend bringing a cheap one just to be on the safe side. But definitely bring one! Like others have said, bring chairs. We bought ones that have backpack straps so that if we want to walk around we aren't struggling to carry them. Don't forget sunscreen! There aren't as many shady spots.
And of course, don't forget your party pants!!
