we are tent camping in a RV spot and arriving a few hours after them.

if we have a companion parking pass for our truck can we drop things off in the RV campground or do have to lug all the stuff from the companion lot?

Buy yourselves a wagon! Believe me, they come in handy.

4girls can usually get the guy in the golf cart to take it for them. . . But a suggestion is to get your stuff to them before they leave so it's already in the r.v.

Definitely get a wagon! One year we had 28 of us going back and forth to our cars. Total PITA, but the TWO people who brought wagon's were the smartest ones!

I wouldn't count on the golf cart thing, we had 22 girls.....

But yes, if you can load most of your stuff in the RV ahead of time, THAT is the way to go! The walk is pretty darn far!

I can honestly say the best (besides the company and party) thing about car camping is that we don't have to walk that horrible horrible walk with all of our stuff. :D

I think that's the ONLY positive! I'm really wanting to borrow a jalopy so my car doesn't get effed up, lol!

ETA: Oh and also I think having elextricity from the car will be a good thing.

It would be worth the trip! Because when you get to stagecoach the last thing you are going to want to do is spend 2 hours walking back and forth loaded up with your supplies

I was going to rent a small pick-up for that exact reason, but then decided to buy a car cover instead. It was cheaper than renting and I can use it over and over again. :D

I don't think you have anything to worry about since you're locking it up. It's too bad we even have to be concerned with this.

99% of the people that are there you wouldnt even have to lock it up. but you get that 1% that are jerks. but your locking it up so you should be fine.

Definatley lock your bikes up. Four years ago we had about 14 bikes in our camp. A few people in our group didn't bother to lock up their bikes, and the next morning one of the bikes was gone. The worst part is, it was a 80th anniversery Schwinn that can never be replaced. BTW... I told them not to bring that bike and also told them to lock them up.

Ok good, just wanted to know it'll be safe locked up. As a kid, I had several bikes stolen even if they WERE locked up (bad neighborhood). Now I'm wondering what I'll lock it up to....lol no idea! Maybe through my car rims?

oh your car camping huh? ya probably car rims is the best place for you. you really only need to lock up when your not using it and leave the campsite

IMO I'd lock up anything you want to keep if it's left outside of your car/rig...cooler, bike...

Last year my BF locked his bike up and figured no one would take my old cruiser...well needless to say he was wrong on that one...We kept looking to see if someone just rode it to the venue entrance and left it but never found it. He ended up having to buy me a new ride which was ok with me ;)

I would've said no worries until last year. Brand new Electras lasted about 4 hours and were gone. Locked together but not attached to my rig. Learned my lesson.

CVS has foldable shopping carts for $20.00. I use mine when I have to load my car for camping. It folds flat and doesn't take up much room.
