View Full Version : Age problem
So me and three other friends bought stagecoach tickets for this year and were trying to still get a camping spot somehow. But anyway on the website it says camping is for 18 and older with a valid ID or parent consent. Only one of us is 18 the rest are all 17. Does this really mean no camping even though were putting the money out to buy tickets and passes? Can we even get into the festival? It would be really bad if we get a spot and can't camp because we are a couple months away from being 18.

From the Onsite Camping Rules page
* All campers must be 18 years of age or older, with proper ID or accompanied by a parent.
Don't know what to tell you guys.
Do they ID you if you walk into any camp ground? Say you tell them you are visiting someone? Is there security or anyone checking at the camp entrances

I imagine you won't even get as far as setting up a campsite to pull this off :(
Can I at least get into the event? I mean I spent my money on a ticket I should be able to!

They don't ID you. At least I have never been carded there and I look really young. Rach, have they ever carded your grandkids??

Oh thanks a lot Karena! Now EVERYBODY knows! LOL Just kidding.
No they didn't, but they were only 12 and 14 so they didn't really need to.
Nikki my daughter looks pretty young and they didn't card her.

Oh and for the record I'm not talking about for alcohol. They WILL card for that. I mean just to go into camping.

Yes, I have been carded before but it was only to confirm for the campsite, or so I thought. I've been over 21 though so I didnt think twice about it.

Maybe you can try some of the off grounds camping sites? They said the Riverside Fairgrounds opened up for RV camping, I personally bought RV camping at Shadow Hills RV Resort since the onsite camping was sold out. But if you're lucky enough to somehow win tickets in ED1 or 2, I'll gladly be your chaperone ;)
