Hi there! It's my first time to Stagecoach and I'm planning on driving/parking each day. I'm staying with friends in a timeshare 40 mins away.(They waited too long to buy tickets and are not going to the concert! .. don't get me started! )
I was thinking I could have someone follow me to parking area at 9:00 am,
drop my car off to make sure I get a spot, get a ride home (go back to sleep, hang out, whatever), then get a ride back to the concert later in the afternoon.. and still have my car there with stuff (chair, blanket, food/drink) and be able to drive home at night. I know it would be easier to have them pick me up at night, but they're on vacation too, so I know they'll be too drunk to drive.
I've heard day parking is a nightmare. Is there an easier way to do this? Am I totally overthinking it?
And honestly, how far of a walk is it away from the front gate? Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks! :)

They added even more parking this year. i think you will have no problem finding parking. and you cant pick and choose where you park they start at one lot and keep moving to next lot as it fills up. and last year they started at furthest spot away and moved to closer park towards the end

IF it's anything like previous years....day parking is kind of a nightmare. Hopefully they've fixed that, but your best bet is to contact a local for rides. There are people who've posted on this board who are cheaper than taxi's and will setup ride times.

why not skip having to drive your car into the madness of the parking lots and take a shuttle in? they were a godsend to everyone who used them at coachella last year.
