Twitter, Facebook, iPhone app., and the website, Stagecoach seems to be so far behind Coachella in these areas. Why is that? I understand that Coachella is far more popular than Stagecoach, but come on folks! Who is in charge of all this stuff?

We have 57 users on the message board right now and Coachella has 636 uses on right now. Now, I don't want that many but, I feel like a lot of people that go to Stagecoach don't even know there is a message board.

There should be more updates by Stagecoach on their social media outlets. Their website front page should be updated often with stories or bios of the artists that are scheduled to preform.

Just food for thought. I'm mean the website hasn't had an update since SC sold out January 6th. Coachella seems to always update everything.

I was thinking the same thing, SPK. Im a little surprised they haven't updated anything. I'm wondering if they have a dedicated social media person?

@SPKemo, I am sure glad I know you, you sure thought this thread out. Did you write it while you were at work, because I know you don't have this much free time at home!!

Of course it was at work Greg. Got it posted just before 5. I just really think it's an issue they need to work on.

for the most part they are just dealing with 2 different types of crowds. coachella caters to the younger, more "connected", type of person while stagecoach definitely skews older so not as much need for all the tech options since they aren't utilized as much in an overall sense. this message board is proof of that. why spend the money if it will go mostly unnoticed/unused?

@SPKemo- I agree with you Billy, spoken well by the way. Is DC still not attending stagecoach this year?

You just insulted about 50,000+ concert goers....So NOT true either. How does the information go out if not on this site...it's definitly not the local newspapers? Keep in mind the StageCoach concert goers are also the ones who do a lot more spending than the Coachella (according to Goldenvoice), so you'd think they'd want to keep us updated with the updates & bios.

yes, i just insulted 50,000 people. whoa, hyperbole.

the proof is in the pudding. The coachella message board is frequented year round with hundreds if not thousands of daily posts. there are what, maybe a 50-100 posts or so a day here in the high season with the board being nearly dead in the off season. many that go to stagecoach are older, which means careers, busier schedules, less care/need/desire to communicate on message boards. what's so offensive about that?

here's your participation trophy.

I like your style country girl. I'm kinda tired of Stagecoach being compared to Coachella. They're different experiences. You can't really compare the target audiences. I don't care what coachella fans are doing... or else I'd be posting over there.

I'd rather have it this way. I think you guys are doing a good job. A mobile app would be awesome, but I can live without it. The musicians you get every year speak for themselves.
