View Full Version : CARPOOL CARAVAN TREATS THIS YEAR?

Hi CountryGurl.. is there anything happening to encourage Carpools this year? I might have missed it as I have been out of town for several weeks and not always connected. We got a great Stagecoach flag when we arrived last year.
We did our rig up last year (my avatar) and enjoyed seeing everyone else's rig and car on the highway as well as visiting the campsites. I think it was Joey ,last year. that did such a great job.

Since so many of us are meeting at Morongo on Thursday, maybe we should fancy up our vehicles for the Caravan???? Thoughts?

I was thinking of decorating my car I bought a bunch of stuffed animal (horses) to put on my car still trying to figure out how I'm going to put them on my car.

That's going to be a bit shakey as they will probably fly off. Hmmmm maybe hook them on the windows like those sports flags.

I saw a picture of somebody with horses all over their car last year. They duct taped them. Which I would only do if I had a beater car!
And yes Rach, I posted in the caravan thread that we should do it this year!

Um yeah no I don't want to use duct tape.. I will see if I can figure out a way if not then oh well :rolleyes:

Ditto! I still have markers from a couple years ago, but not sure if they're still good. I have my packing list, but really need to start my shopping list!

Believe you me, I am EXCITED about you having a mister!! Wanna hear a funny story? So last year I made a packing list for when we all went to Lake Isabella and Heather wanted to copy my camping list so I gave her one. On my list I had a "pink mister". She called to tell me she didn't wanna share a tent with me if I was bringing that. I had to clarify that it was a WATER mister that happens to be pink! Hahaha

I'm going to write on all of my windows before driving out to Morongo. Once I get parked I'm going to add more decorations to my car but, I don't know how we could decorate our cars if we're driving from Morongo. Maybe tie ribbons to door handles. I'm getting some balloons but, don't think I can drive with them tied to the outside of the car.

we stoped at the cvs down the street to put on the decorations... and just drove a lil slow the last mile to the festival grounds...
