Get there on Thursday or Friday?

So this will be my first year attending Stagecoach and I am so excited!! So I was wondering, to those veterans out there- is it best to try and get there Thursday night or early Friday morning? If I were to get there Friday around lunchtime, would I be missing out on much? How is traffic during both these days? Thanks!

I suggest you get there as early as you can (thursday). Lots of fun to be had the first night and then friday you have the whole day out there.

If you're camping then Thursday as early as possible. (Check the hours) Thursday night should be pretty fun! No music so people will be drinking their asses off.

Well by the time I got my tickets all the camping was sold out :( so I'm camping at Shadow Hills RV Resort instead! That's a good point though, that Thursday night there's no concert so the camp grounds will be pretty fun. However, am I allowed to go into El Dorado if I'm not camping there? I have a buddy who won camping there from the local radion station (lucky bastard!)

I have tons like that on my Pinterest. LOVE the idea, but better for a smaller house party. We do like 200 shots for Stagecoach (or more), hard to keep that!

Our group is actually going out Wed night. We are gonna stay the night in town so we don't have to deal with all the freeway traffic coming in on Thursday morning and we can wake up (if we actually go to sleep) and drive right up the street to the gates at 8am!

We're heading out Wednesday night as well. There's a Walmart a couple miles away rv's can park at overnight. I know the gates open at 8 am but how early do you think people will start lining up to get in? I saw that SC doesn't want people there before the gates open but I doubt that people will actually listen. I want to get a spot nice and close to the stage in ED 1.
