I'm sorry. I had to post something trying to express/explain my excitiment for this year's line up. I've wanted to see so many of these artists since I was a little girl. Martina McBride? Alabama? Sara Evans? And all these new artists. Jason Aldean's set is going to be so much fun. Brad Pasisely is definitely going to make me cry. Have you really listened to some of his songs? The way he sings about his wife? Yeah, I'm a goner for that one. Miranda's is going to make me wanna kick some ass! Whatever that... means. And Blake well, I'm actually nervous about what his voice will do to me in person.
I could go on and on and on.... who are you guys looking forward to? And what songs do they have to play for you. Seriously, some of these guys have had so many hits, I'm assuming a favorite or two might not fit their sets! Which is AWESOME!!
I'm going to go back to washing my dishes and dancing to Aldean in my kitchen!

all i can say is be prepared to be in awwww.... the best live performer by far hands down is brad!!! jason comes on does his set does not interact with the audience.... blake and miranda are funny as hell and ROCK!!!! Have never seen alabama live but LOVE their music! luke and justin are great in concert. can't wait!

I have seen almost all once at least except for Blake... he is the last on my "artist bucket list". All the others will not disappoint. CaliCowboy is right on.. Jason's set is awesome but not very involved.. Martina and Sara prove why they continue to be stars.. true genuine beautiful voices..

hahaha me too. I forgot about Justin Moore!
Looks like my new goal is to get J. Aldean to "interact" with the crowd. A couple ideas come to mind... ;)
Is it true that Miranda and Blake have never performed a full set together? I think I heard that on here (Adam?). If so that's crazy. I feel lucky to get them both at the same time, on the same stage.

I've seen Brad, Jason, Miranda, Blake, Sara Evans, Luke, Band Perry, Eli Young, and Justin Moore all live in concert and was impressed by every single one of them. Stagecoach is gonna be so kick ass this year. I cannot wait!

The trade off to Jason no interacting is that he plays hard NONSTOP! lots and lots of energy..

I plan on being highly intoxicated from 8am Thursday to 10am Monday. I'm pretty sure all the music will sound great to me.

This is a great lineup! I have seen almost all of them and always been impressed. I will be interesting to see Brad because last time I saw him was at Verizon and he had huge LED walls behind them playing videos the time and it was a little distracting.

Get someone to go to the meeting for you? Or say you're going to be sick! Or visiting your dying grandparents that weekend. Whatever you have to do!

Haha. Might be hard to spot you even with the shirt. Everyone and their mothers are going to be highly toxciated. Last year, I might have had a little more water before Kenny and Rascal so I could really remember them. Thankfully I took video.

Jason has to sing She's Country, Amarillo Sky, and Dirt Road Anthem
Of course Luke is gonna play Shake It For Me and I Don't Want this Night to End
Alabama is the one I'm most worried about. They have so many hits I doubt they'll play them all. But I really hope they play Song of the South, Cheap Seats, and Mountain Music

I'm also very excited for Jason and Luke. Both of their last CDS, I like almost every song on them. I usually fall in love with the ones that aren't hits yet or are almost hits. Luke Bryan's Faded Away and Drunk On You are ones I also want to hear. Aldean's Days Like These and Tattoos on This Town are some of favorites too. I hope he plays those.
Alabama HAS to play mountain music dont you think? What a beautiful moment! I know I'll be witnessing a legend in country music. I can't wait.

Riiight?? "Well if you ain't a ten, you're a 9.9, tippin' and spillin' that homemade wine on your tied-up, tshirt. Every little kiss is drivin me wild, throwin little cherry bombs into my fire, Good God al-mighty"
The best lyrics in that song are "Girl you make my speakers BOOM BOOM" Hahaha, I love how openly cheesy Luke Bryan songs are.
She's Country.... Shake It For Me
I feel like girls are going to go crazy for these two. Shake It For Me again, is cheese central but... every time I hear it, I say that and then notice I'm dancing hardcore while saying it.
And She's Country. I mean, that's just a modern day classic :)

I don't think you've seen him yet. The time he was around our area was sometime (either last year or the year before) in San Diego with Rodney Atkins. I went to that one, the tickets were only $10 each. I think we got the info from GayPalmsprings.

So true. Everyone turns into your best friend that "totally gets you" and what that songs means to you. It gets sappy real fast with alcohol involved.
Blake is going to be another great one. I hope he plays his classics like Austin and All Over Me. You know, when he used to look like this...

I know. That truly is the challenge, getting juuust drunk enough that you are having the time of your life, but not getting so drunk you become THAT guy or girl and don't remember balls crap.
I accomplished the challenge the 2nd night last year, for Rascal and Carrie. Kenny and Darius on the other hand, were small blurry people. Their voices sounded great!

I posted somewhere else that I am going alone this year... last year I had to leave on Sunday as the first act was going on because the girl I brought went nuts and wanted to go home... so the net result was not remembering a single act...
I have faint memories of Darius Rucker though and a whole bunch of pictures of myself during Kenny screaming and swinging my shirt over my head... yikes!

There is something about going to Stagecoach alone...first off, 55K people does not make you alone. With that being said...
You get to show up when you want to, leave when you want to, eat what and when you want to. Stay as many days as you want to. You are on your own schedule, day and NIGHT. You can camp out at the mane stage or roam around and enjoy the very "up close" at the other stages. I LOVE BEING ALONE :D Come and join me :)

LOL i'm a girl, btw!!!
has anyone here ever won a M&G pass for an artist who was performing at Stagecoach? i'm just wondering how it's going to work.....i've won M&G's before but they were at arena concerts and you could pick up your pass at Will Call before they let you into the arena.....
the email i got said that i should get my M&G pass 90 minutes before Blake's show and that it would be held at Will Call. Problem is i'm ASSUMING he'll be performing at night (since that's when they bring out the "big guns"), at which point i will already be inside the Polo Field, and i don't think they're gonna let me out so i can go get in the Will Call line and get my M&G pass cause of the whole "no re-entry" thing. And i am not camping on site either, otherwise i think they would let me leave and come back in without a problem if i was camping on site....
EDIT: ok i went back and read a little further in my email.....it said if there was no Will Call window, the M&G passes would be at Blake's merchandise booth and i should go there to get it. Problem is, there IS a Will Call window at Stagecoach so i'm still going to have a problem getting it if they're not going to let me back in to the festival because i only have a GA ticket and am not camping on site.....
JNPatton
03-23-2012, 04:10 PM
Im unaware of a no re-entry policy for the venue itself. Usually you can enter or exit without a problem, even with no camping wristband. If it was me, I would go to the merch booth first, early in the day and figure out if they are holding passes and then go to will call if needed. That way you can find time to go to will call in the middle of the day instead of when everyone else is trying to get their tickets. Im guessing Blake will play Saturday (not Friday night), that will give you all day Saturday to figure out where to be and when. Or you could always tweet Blake ;)

IN previous years when my friends have had m&g's at Stagecoach, the place to check-in, etc 90 minutes prior, is INSIDE the venue. However they should allow re-entry as long as you have your pass on your wrist.

Last year there was a meet & greet booth and they held all the lists there, unless your psses were mailed or picked up at an off-site location. It was very helpful having one central location... once you find it! And of course security was as clueless as can be. I had ones for Chris Young on Saturday and just gave them my ID and was good to go. Our Josh Turner passes were to be picked up at the offsite media location well before the gates opened on Sunday but then I didn't have to worry about as much.

thanks. I've just never won a M&G pass for any artist performing at Stagecoach so I wasn't sure how they would run things. My email from Blake's "camp" said that my pass would be held at Will Call and that if i have problems getting the pass, i should ask at Blake's merchandise table (??? i always thought there was just the main merchandise table, i didn't think Blake would have his OWN merchandise table there).....

If you have an opportunity to write back, I'd find out if the will call they're talking about is the off-site location. It's the Indian Wells Tennis Center off Miles Ave(?). You'll need to drive there and pick it up well before you get to the venue. That would be your safest option. They may choose to just keep all the m&g passes at the venue and have you go to the merch booth. Although I don't recall EVER seeing merch booths for individual artists... just the main one with everyone's merch. It can't hurt to email back and double check :) Believe me, it's a stressful situation to be in and running around the polo grounds trying to find everything can make you want to cry. No one seems to know what's going on because 99% of the crowd do NOT have passes and the security are pretty uninformed.

I'm gonna put my money on the fan club! KFROG usually gives 'em out too!
:mad:No:mad: my gf said it was to late to drive down there on sat. . . She was just mad that I didn't get off work. . . So we didn't make it. Wish I did though. Would of loved to "put a drink in my hand" with Mr. Church... How was it?

yeah i got another email from them stating that the Will Call box office is located at that place in Indian Wells, not at the venue. That does save me a lot of headache running around the Polo Fields trying to find someone who knows what they are talking about and missing whoever is performing on the stage(s)!

Mr Church was great!!! The crowd was out of control though. But we had such a good hotel room that we could still hear him. Ok.. so maybe we can meet up at SC then!
