Transferring Wristbands

So my friend wasn't able to go so she's giving me her tickets instead. We're waiting until March when she gets the wristbands mailed to her and then she's giving them to me. However, I've read some places that they come with a name on them and cannot be transferred? Does anyone know how you transfer tickets? Can it be done after they've been mailed or do we need to do something before they're shipped out?

The mailed ones are like cash. Will Call is a different animal, as are the shuttle buses (you need ID).
