for those trying to figure out what will fit on a 10x30 spot, a poster on the coachella board made post with a sketch up to show what that space looks like:

they should also multiply that diagram by 50 in each direction and another row butting up to it... then you will get the real picture of what it looks like!

well, I have a longbed truck....I'm just going to sleep in the back of it and put a canopy over it! The rest of the room will be a table, ice chest and chairs. There is no way any other tents are going to fit around it. On the other hand, it will be nice to know that I can lock stuff in the cab :)

i was thinking the same thing. itll be nice to be able to charge our phones and ipods in the car. hopefully its not freezing at night like last year

The picture is for reference only. The picture was not made for SC so items in the picture might not be relevant to SC. Please use the picture just to see how big or small a space is.

It looks like some campers (friends obviously) just parked their cars in the same spot and used the 2nd spot for tents only. Is this allowed?

you guys are tough! its like you were playing that video game at end of a bar where you spot the smallest differences between the two pictures. I searched "coachella car camping" and that photo came up. Im not sure its correct either, but you get the picture.

Thank you Kuzn Edy for posting that pic. I have a Tahoe Z71 and we have 5 people coming and need a 6 person tent and this pic showed an SUV longer than mine and fairly big tent on it. I've been concerned about fitting both the vehicle and tent comfortably but it looks like I'll have no problem. Let the party begin!

Also keep in mind you might not get the exact dimensions they say your gunna get either. The RV spots were a little tighter than 20x50 last times i went. The car spots might not be "exactly' what they say... who knows, they might even be bigger if you want to be optimistic.

The tent camping spots weren't 10' x 30" last year. I measured, lol

Nevermind. They are 10x30. My friend was wrong, he bought a tent camping spot for coachella.
have you seen what these are selling for on ebay & Craigslist? car camping is $700 + as high as 900 bucks! this is crazy
Can I park my motorcycle instead of a car in my car camping spot?

If we HAVE to have a car AND our tent on a so called 10x30 spot I'll be digdogdanged if I will settle for smaller. After what we went through just to get the tickets?

Agreed! Although it's not like the volunteer workers they have there can or will do anything about it if it's smaller than it should be.
