Just received this in my email, if anyone needs camping here it is!!

Dear Stagecoach Fans,

Thank you for your overwhelming support of Stagecoach 2012. We understand many fans were unable to purchase camping passes. To accommodate more campers, we made the decision to reallocate land creating 400 additional tent camping spaces. Click here for map. Tent camping passes go on sale at 10:00am PDT THIS Friday, November 4th.

• Tent camping passes are $75 + 10 % Indio TOT tax + service charges.
• Each space is 10x15.
• Each space comes with a parking spot in an adjacent lot (you cannot park your car next to your tent).
• You may fit as many tents/people in your spot as space allows.
• Only ONE camping pass per purchase.
• Only ONE camping pass per household.
• Passes are WILL CALL ONLY (will call details to follow once festival wristbands are shipped).
• Original purchaser will need to provide picture I.D./credit card used to purchase pass/AND Festival Wristband.
• We will not accept any name changes.
• These Tent Camping passes are only available through Ticketmaster. If you need to purchase 3-day GA, 3-day P2 Reserved or additional companion parking passes click here.

Or if you buy the pass now and have to cancel. You can unload your wristbands but not your campsite? Hhhhhmmmm. Really have to think about this one.

No i believe they are just saying that the person with the name on the will call list will have to pick the ticket up. I think once its in hand you can give or do whatever you want.

Last year at tent camping, they put our wristbands on our wrists when we arrived so they couldn't be given to anyone else.

If you can't go to the festival, why would you show up to Will Call? I'm just sayin'...

I'm talking about those who can't make it out there. If I buy the spot, I can't transfer it to someone else prior to the event. That means I'd have to go there to give it to someone else.

Ask them for their credit card number and billing info and then give them the money and say i bought this as a gift for you.. Thats all you can do..

I'm teasing you, but really not trying to be mean. I know you're just providing suggestions. This is a little more complicated than that, though. It sucks that GV has to resort to such tactics to avoid scalpers.

I don't think you would have to buy another festival pass, they added the tent camping to help those that bought tickets but could not buy any camping, due to it selling out so fast.

It looks to me that at least they are trying to help others that did not get any on-site camping. I believe the stick and ball area is needed for general parking now since SC has grown so much, not sure but stick and ball area camping was in 09 I believe.

With So many people complaining about not having a place to stay they can accomadate more with tent camping (400) rather than only being able to squeeze in a few more RV spots. At least its Something

I agree, I'm so glad they are at least trying. Now I just hope I can get a spot tomorrow, 400 is not a lot of spots considering all the people that missed out.


Does anyone know if I have to have a current ticket order to by a camping spot? Last week I was never able to get in and get tickets so my sister got mine on her order, she is going to try and get a camping spot tomorrow but one 10X15 spot is not big enough for all our necessaties and since she can only get one I was wondering if I can go an buy one too. We have different billing addresses.

Oh and another questions, will they add this to our layway order or will we have to fork up the money up front?

I'm pretty sure that Ticketmaster is a pay-in-full/credit card entity and had nothing to do with lay-a-way. Make sure and have a ticketmaster account set up before tomorrow @ 10a.m.

And I don't think the tix matter either- since the tix and original cling wad via HELLgate and the soon to be released Tix are thru Ticketmaster

You have to have a festival pass in order to buy a camping spot. Since your sister ordered yours on her account, there's no way to prove that it belongs to you. Sucks huh?

I believe that since you will be picking up your camp spot at will call. That would be where they make sure you have a festival pass. No way they can check when you buy the camping pass, since it was done with different company's. I would go ahead and buy one from ticketmaster if you can and then call Goldenvoice.

Nope, you only have to have it once you're there, to be IN the camp areas. For the tent camping that just went on sale, you didn't need to purchase a festival pass. :)

Logged on to get passes.....all it said for ten min was "sorry, no exact matches were found".....didn't get a ticket. I literally tried like 50 times and that's all it said, and I was on before 10am. What the hell????????

I'm just in a sh*t situation because I'm coming from Ohio. I know people are letting others pitch a tent on their extra space, but that is a hell of a trip to make for someone to forget or change their mind.

Just don't try to shower past 7am (guy's line is always shorter though). Go either super early or immediately after the concert. Or you can do what some of my friends did and find the hose with running water underneath the bathroom trailers and use it to "shower" in! And yes, you can bring 2 cases/liters/plastic bottles of alcohol in per person. They're really cool about stuff, just make sure there is NO glass. They won't let it in.

LOL! There are hours they are open, don't remember off hand what they are, but they do definitely close at times. Check back, they should have it posted at some point.

To be honest with you guys, I don't know how on earth you plan to fit SIX people on one car camping spot. The car will take up half the spot, and the other half will fit a medium sized tent, but then you have ZERO room for chairs, table, or anything. 10'x30' isn't as big as you'd think it would be. We barely got 1-2 tents on each spot that size last year, and had a small area for a table and EZ up when we combined 4 spots.

you wont need to have your tent set up right away..have the table and chairs out during the day, and at night put them away and setup the tent.. thats what we plan on doing

we plan to set it up right before we go into the concert and theres only three of us so its a small tent...any partying after will be at our friends campsite who is in the RV area

im sure if its hot enough we will just sleep in the grass or the bed of my truck

You won't be back to your campsite after the concert each night until 11 or midnight, you're tired, drunk, about to be more drunk or pass out, and setting up a tent is gonna be about the last thing you'll do. Are you doing sleeping bags or air mattress, cuz there's that to take into account as well.

i dont plan on being THAT drunk because ill have my 18 and 23 yr old neices with me so i have to be semi responsible.

Oh definitely. And 3 people aren't a big deal, that was more towards if you were gonna share a site with 2 other people. THAT would be crammed.
