My friend here at work is wondering about the generator rule for EDII. I guess the rules say no generator, however when I've done EFII and rented RV's, it was ok to run it. Can you clarify so he get's it right? His RV only runs on generator apparently so to have A/C they need to run one.

Portable generators are not attached to rv. i think thats what it is meaning ones that are built in are fine.

The ones we used on our rentals were portable, located outside the RV. That's what my co-worker has.

Sorry not understanding the question. the rule is no portable generators. factory installed ones are fine.

That counts out a hefty percentage of people with RV's that now can't go :( Not every RV comes with a generator built in.
