I just went on Ticketmaster to find a companion parking pass and it looks like they released more ED1 spots!

That is too damn funny. I remember last year they were showing it SOLD OUT on Ticketmaster, then we get there and I swear it was only 3/4 full.....

ED1 = El Dorado 1 campsite... closest to the festival, highest in price, ALL have electrical hookups either 30a / 50a

YUP !!!! its true u can get an ed1 with power and companion pass !!!! or u can upgrade from ed2 or international to ed1 30 amp or 50 amp ....... get em b4 they r gone !!!!

That is too funny. Don't think so cuz they are also offering an upgrade from International. What this tells me is maybe a couple of things....

1) After 4 years, whoever is organizing / planning the camping portion of this event HAS NO FRIGGIN CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING.... can not get someone to effectively draw a grid with the exact # of spots, then actually take that grid and put little white stripey's on the ground that match and lastly, actually put this same # of spots up for sale on Ticketmaster and then figure out when they actually get to " 0 " and stop
2) Hmmmmmm, maybe they figure if they cut down the existing spots by a foot or so, then cut down the aisles / fire lanes, by a foot or so, they could actually SQUEEZE in a good number of spots over the entire Eldo I area... it is big enough, little nip / tuck here, nip / tuck there and BAM ----- $500 for each extra spot you add.
3) Oh, what the hell do I know, they are smarter than me... for sure....

So, as people take these upgrades, do you think they have a system in place that will now make those Eldo II and International "spots" become available and resell them ????

Something smells stinky...... I am glad I have a Tape Measure in my Rig... I am gonna pull it out and measure since I need every square inch of my 20x50 spot that they SOLD ME.......

And a Companion Pass ???? Not that is the one I think is going to get all hosed up unless they were "earmarking" a portion of Lot 4 for "others" (workers, vendors, etc) and they are now going to move them somewhere else. This makes the 3rd time I remember that "companion parking" has suddenly become available. I am worried about that as I have folks coming in Saturday before the show and I don't want to have to worry about them actually getting the spot I bought for them....... uuuugh

Just tried the companion parking passes, NONE available but not showing as sold out on Ticketmaster... darn was gonna buy a few and make some beer money this afternoon

I agree.......ALSO - It doesn't seem correct to allow up to 6 rv camping tickets to 1 individual....it is not the same principle of scalping "seat" tickets....any persons ass can fill a seat...so you can get extra "seat" tickets for your friends... cause they have an ass to fill a seat!!!!!! now if you allow 6 "rv"camping tickets to be sold to one individual...that is wrong....i do not have 6 friends that have RVs ?!?!? I don't know if i am explaining this correctly....JUST VENTING ...lol stop allowing so many camping spots to 1 individual.....seems to be a greed factor that creates this mess every year...
of course just my opinion enjoy the show!!!!!!!
