Taxi cabs

Has anyone had any experience with taking a cab home from the venue? I'm only going about 5 miles (just over fwy 10 on Monroe) to a friends house so the shuttle option is out. Are there plenty of cabs available? I don't want to miss a second of the concert and really don't want to stay sober!

Yeah, last year we had no problem getting a cab on the way home. We maybe waited 2 minutes. They are at Monroe and Avenue 50 I believe
