View Full Version : Wine
New to the Stagecoach event - Does this no glass issue really mean you can't have a decent wine in a bottle in the camper? Seems a little extreme. Please advise.....

No glass bottles. How about a "decent" boxed wine, hehe :D
That's a contradiction of terms. Hah!
Nayastar - are you Bob, President of the Red Neck Yacht Club??? = )

I'm not, nor have have I ever done rv or camping but could you pour the wine out of the bottle into something else like a pitcher before going in?
Just a suggestion....

never had a problem with Wine in a bottle the last 5 yearsso long as the Bottle stays inside. They just don't want broken glass on a field with horses... (and barefoot cowpeople who've had a little too much wine - and other things - to drink)

Yah seems to me once you get through the gate and the "rent-a-cop", I mean high school kids working the entrance / check in to camp area's.... they seem to not care as much as long as your not being crazy stupid outside with stuff.

Last year I brough botles of wine and didnt have any problems... but I kept the bottles in the trailer- poured inside into a cup :) This year I bought Target's boxed wine- its decent, cheap, and meets the no bottles requirement- i like the reisling :)

Boxed wine worked for us last year. No one said anything in tent camping. But your right, we brought it in after we had everything set up and they were not as tight then.
