Oh, those dreaded hangovers. Seems I can't drink w/out one these days.
Anyone have any tried & trusted remedies?! Or better yet, tips to PREVENT one? If so, please share :)

EAT while you're drinking the night before and down some water before bed! I find I only get SUPER hungover off of beer. Which sucks because I love beer! And I don't condone eating right before bed, but if you're drinking, do it!

--Avoid caffeine. A weak cup of coffee may be okay but a lot of caffeine will continue to dehydrate you, the opposite of what you want right now.
--Eat mineral rich food like pickles or canned fish.
--In Poland, drinking pickle juice is a common remedy.
--The side effects of aspirin, Tylenol and ibuprofen can be magnified when alcohol is in your system. Aspirin is a blood thinner, just like alcohol, and can intensify its effects and Tylenol (or acetaminophen) can cause more damage to your liver. Ibuprofen can also cause stomach bleeding.
--Multi B vitamin and drink a lot of water before going to sleep.

I think I'll try the "don't stop drinking..." suggestion, bahaha!
Pickles & pickle juice may also be an option! Can you believe I've never had a bloody mary? :o Guess I'll have to try one this year! I keep hearing so many great things about them. Breakfast of champions eh?!

tgcali turned me onto these tablets called NUUN, they're effervescent tabs you stick in water and are meant for hydrating while hiking, but they also work great at hydrating you the next morning

haha, I not saying that I am going to do that. A Bloody Mary always does the trick for me.
I say stick with the "Don't Stop Drinking". I have been spotted at Stagecoach drinking till the sun comes up, sleeping for a couple hours and then having a couple (understatement) Jell-O shots for breakfast and then a couple (again understatement) beers for a snack. If you wake up still kinda drunk it works better, because it isn't so much the "hair of the dog that bit you", but more of just a continuation of the fun you were having the night before. Just keep that buzz going. Makes for a good time. :)

Stay well hydrated...hangovers are caused by dehydration!
This method of eliminating the long portapotty lines isn't recommended...
Alka Seltzer. Magical. And as suggested all over... water water water. The key is to keep it by your bed while you sleep so when you wake up in the middle of the night, with those fuzzy socks on your teeth, feeling sooooo thirsty... gulp gulp gulp, and by morning you're at least 50% better than you would have been without it.

Water... down 2-3 bottles in the am and afternoon the night u plan to drink. then 1 bottle before bed. avoid asprin. not good to drink with ive heard from my doc. and I usually put a wet wash cloth on my forhead fall asleep for 20 min or so, wake up and its gone. Then of course I make a bloody beer (almost the same as bloody mary, but w/ beer not vodka) =) goood luck
Also have been reading that coconut water works too.
