Hey all,
I see it says no Hard alcohol on there website.. Are they really strict about that or is more of the glass bottles? You think they would fuss if it was in plastic bottles?

 The web site says no liquor and one case of beer and noone under 21 years of age in the camper/RV or tow vehicle if you brought booze.
With that said my experience from LAST YEAR was u could take one plastic bottle of booze and one box of beer. They did have a problem with the kids in the back of the RV but let us enter with that.
Hope that helps:D

I had 8 people in my RV last year when they searched it. We had 24 36 packs of beer. They didn't say anything about the beer. They found a 1/2 bottle of Beam that I had to dump. I didn't even know it was in there. We all brought a lot of hard with us. We just stashed it in the right places and they never found it.

As always, let's not post about hiding places, what they didn't see last year, etc, because Goldenvoice DOES read this! But yes, NO glass bottles, they're really strict on GLASS.

I meant to add that we stashed it in our bellies. We would never break the rules.

Goldenvoice has had many years of additional experience dealing with Coachella people and all the creative ways people find to make their own rules when they go to a concert or festival. I'm sure they have seen and heard it all by now.

I think it is pretty hit and miss depending on who you get.
My husband and I are older (darn it) than the sweet young things in bikinis and boots and the horny "cowboys" that follow them around. :-) and no longer pack it away like we did when we were in college. So we didn't have cases and cases of beer with us .
But last year the security guy who checked our rv stood on the benches and sofa and went through every storage bin, checked the bathroom, went through our food, game and tv cabinets, closets and even my underwear drawer. I was grossed out with how he handled everything, pushing stuff aside, etc.
While he was checking inside another security guard was with my husband going through every outside storage cabinet, and lock area on the rv.
But the guys we parked behind had a TRUCK LOAD of stuff... lol.. they said they had no problem. Go figure
