Does anyone know how much it is to buy water from the truck that drives around? thinking about bringing a pool but not too sure if its a good idea or not.

I thought it was $80 each to unload your waste or to fill with water.

I thought it was $75 for filling last year, and not positive on dumping. But pretty sure that's what it was because I was gonna rally our group to pitch in for water should we have needed it. We just made sure not to shower in the trailer.

ok i heard a couple years ago that the truck that fills the porter potties was doing it for free u just had to ask? also last year you could see the water truck just dumping tons of water on the grass(?) for no apparent reason except to make it muddy.

ive never camped so i might not be the most reliable source....

but either way, its crazy for them to charge so damn much for water!

The price and service depends on how well you 'bribe' the water truck guys..... Last year we had the 'water needed' sign in BOTH camper windows and we waited all day on Saturday for him to come and fill us up. He was on our aisle appx. 6 times and we kept asking him to stop and he said I can't, I can't there are people ahead of you..... Well we went a few aisle over to the campers that were actually getting water, several times and we asked what the trick was and they all stated that you had to pay extra to get him to your campsite. I thought about calling the company, but just decided to bribe him as well, as my friend was completely out of water because his girlfiend didn't know about the water saving switch in the camper so she drained all 60 gallons on the first shower of the weekend.

Well considering I just bought 1 gallon containers of drinking water from Wal-Mart for .78 a gallon I think it is kind of outrageous. LOL Maybe I should just go to wal-mart and buy 100 of the 1 gallon containers.... Can you imagine, I guess I would need a funnel as well. what a site that would be.... We are planning on filling a jacuzzi too, so we are going to pay dearly this year.
