Does anyone know if we can park a car by our tent? How secure is the campground if not?

Nope, no cars in the Forum. There is a parking lot next to the tenting area though.

Do not leave your valuables behind. Anything you don't need for the weekend, leave at home. The campground is not secure.
Last year we caught a guy trying to steal beers out of our ice chest. After we walked up on him he looked at us and said, "haha sorry, but what are the odds that you guys would walk up right now? I've been doing this all day." Yea, he got roughed up a little before we handed him to security.

The super sad part about your story is if you just walk up and ask someone for a beer, who would say no? So many generous and good people. It's those few bad apples. grrrrrr
