I am not a 5 year veteran like some of you but am a veteran none the less and this thread was really helpful last year and since everyone seems to be putting their lists together now I thought we should do this again.
Let's add in stuff for campers/ rv'ers/and hotel'ers :)
One outfit per day. One pair of comfy shoes and one back-up. Flip flops are fine if you're used to walking VERY FAR distances in them, they're also good for the shower trailer. A lightweight jacket for late evening. Light layers works best. Uber hot during the day, freaky cold after dark
Pain reliever - Aspirin, Tylenol, Advil, etc.
Batteries/chargers - camera, flashlight or lantern, etc.
Sunscreen
Lotion - also sunburn pain relieving spray and sore muscle rub
Seating - blanket, beach towel, folding chair, etc. (just make it something you can easily carry)
Hat
Sunglasses - eye drops are good if the dusty wind will be a problem for your eyes
First Aid - couple of Bandaids and some Neosporin will do the trick
Shade - if you're camping in the Forum this is a MUST
Camping? - tent, sleeping bag or blanket, pillow, chair, cooler, extra tent stakes and mallet
Food - think about the time you'll actually be in camp and plan accordingly
Beverages - again, how long will you actually be in camp, WATER, WATER, and more WATER
Wet Wipes
Toilet Paper
Toilet Seat Covers - forgot this one, thanks Ladies for the reminder.
Personal Hygiene - do yourself a favor and put your deodorant in a baggie in the cooler. Mine melted on my sleeping bag last year
Lighting - we didn't need our lanterns in camp in the Forum because of the stadium lights, but, you do need something for after dark bathroom trips
Red Cups, etc. - stuff to eat your food on, with and drink your beverages out of
Bandana - you'll want to get it wet to help keep you cool inside the venue
Medications
Camera - film, extra cards, etc.
Money - for souvenirs, food, beverages and water in the venue, ice in the campgrounds, etc.
Tickets
Directions
Great Attitude
Lip Balm w/Sunblock
Back up prescription eyeglasses and repair kit
Trash Bags
Paper Towels
Backpack
Extra contact lenses
Ear Plugs - Not everyone wants to stay up til dawn partying.
Hand Sanitizer
Sewing Kit w/ Scissors
Identification
Leave your jewelery and valuables at home.
Please take a picture of your contact info if you have a digital camera so if you lose it, lost and found can contact you to come get it. or whoever finds it if they are nice can do so too. - Thanks Countrygurl!
DO NOT put your ticketmaster tickets in your car. They will turn black and be ruined by the sun....I have heard this doesn't necessarily happen, but maybe just don't take a chance?
If you're driving more than an hour or so, get your car serviced. Also arrange with someone at home to have spare keys and directions to the venue in case you need to be rescued because you lost your keys or your car broke down.
Thanks to all our Stagecoach Veterans that contributed to this last year and will do so again this year. We rock!
