So I just seen that these Luxury tent camping have gone on sale via Ticketmaster... My question is... Who is buying these Luxury tents by the beautiful lake Dorodo at the insane rate of 900 bucks for 4 people?

think about it thats 225 a person... then there tickets which are like 175 now after fees... thats 400 per person

Secondly is the lake going to be open for a midnight swim!!! anyone??

225 per person for 4 days is around 60 bucks a day. For a last minute deal it's not to bad.

I just laugh when I read "luxury" tent camping. That's what I call motel 6.

It could be worse Joey. Check the the prices for Lake Eldorado camping at Coachella. If you thought $900 was bad, try $1,600. And they are already sold out there.

2-Person Tent: $1,000.00
4-Person Tent: $1,600.00
2-Person Teepee: $1,000.00

I want to say that we saw these set up the first year we camped....? Not FOR Stagecoach - they were still taking them down from Coachella I think - but hey - if you don't like camping - but need a place to stay - it'd be the way to go!

I'm Motel 6'in' it thanks to IHML's "just in case" reservation. THANK YOU IHML! :)

My Lord....
I hope they know we stagecoach people are all common folk! Just give us a piece of grass and we will bring our own tent, our own sleeping bag, our own pillow, our own food and our own wiskey!
give us a biger patch of grass and we will bring our own hotel on wheels!!!

Just make sure the whiskey is in a plastic bottle, haha...another lame rule of no glass to go with no outdoor cooking.

Actually I'm kind of glad for that rule when I drink I take my shoes along with other things off and I'd be the one that would came home with stitches from stepping in a bottle..... Ended up with a concusion last year after a slide on the slip n slide on ED II I think!!!

I love the name "imamon1st" and then you proceed to tell us what happens when you get a few in you. Classic. You are the person I want to party with!!

Hey imamom 1st...Lol...we'll be in ED2...Possibly with a "exercise" pole, that's what our kids know it as, haha...it's a little safer than the slip and slide. As far as the bottles go, it would just be nice to be able to bring liquor in the containers they come in without having to hide it. They could make a rule that glass is allowed in the rv's/trailers, just not outside.

I copied and pasted this from the FAQ page...seems new for SC11

Can we bring or make our own Slip n Slides?
For the safety of the entire campsite Slip-N-Slides will not be allowed in camping.
