Hello,
I have a rv spot and i will be getting there on thursday night. Well a majority of the group is coming out friday afternoon and night. I was wondering how i get them in to my campsite if they are coming in later. Do i just meet them at the entrance with my camping pass?

They'll be able to walk in and carry their stuff but can't drive in. They also won't have anywhere to park unless you bought the companion parking spot when you bought your RV spot. There's already been several posts on this same subject. Stagecoach officials are pushing everyone that is staying with you to arrive together.

No, everyone has access to all RV campgrounds. Just tell them where you are at and have them find you. The only reason to meet them at the gate is to help them out so they don't have to look for you for an hour. I would also tell them to put as much of their stuff in your RV before you leave. Walking a mile to find the RV with three 30 packs of beer, luggage, and food can really suck.

@cmsandiego the companion parking is a new problem for a lot of people. My wife and I usually would just drive up Friday after work and meet up with our friends that have been there since Thursday. Now we both have to take an extra day off work. But if Stagecoach is going to force us to drink, party all day, and have a great time on Friday, I guess we will just have to do it. Darn!!

Rules will change at the very last minute especially when they are new ones. Just ask around and figure out what works best for you and your group. Most employees are super kewl when you try and follow their rules and not put up an agrument. PLEASE make sure to post here what you find out so that the rest of us can obey too once we arrive.

I have been to this festival 4 years - and i don't think i am coming again - if they sell you a ticket and you drove down for the day, you would have a parking spot, and that same parking spot will still be there overnight when all the day trippers leave? Why can the overnighters not leave their car in the day lot over nite?? I am really furious about this. Its like a scam to sell you a ticket and then not provide you a parking spot so maybe you wont come and they can get more money for nothing!

@PartyBetty Like any other concert, they have parking for the people that they sold tickets to. The reason they are doing it different this year is because they can not anticipate the number of campers that are driving. If an RV has 8 people in it but no one drives with the RV. They would have to anticipate 7 cars showing up that need parking for the weekend. By doing it this way, there will be plenty of parking for everyone that is just driving up each day. If the overnighters parked there cars in the day trippers spot, then the day trippers wont have a place to park. I would suggest parking in a parking garage in Indio or Palm Desert and just taking a cab or having one of your friends that has companion parking pick you up. That might be your best bet. I would think a parking garage will be at the most $75 for the weekend.

Same here, taking a few extra days off work for Stagecoach... but I look forward to this each year. What a bummer that now we HAVE to start the party a liitle sooner! All good...

Ya, I'm not complaining one bit...the wife and I drove my rig up Thursday last year and the same for this year...I've told everyone staying with us to come up with us or you're on your own to find parking...guess what, they're riding with me, haha. Oh darn, guess that's means we have a full day to party before the concerts start.

Go ahead and get to bed by 9 pm Country Boy. Make sure you attend church services on Sunday. Drink lots of milk and allow yourself to indulge in a 7-up every now and then. The rest of us will be having one of the best weekends of the year. The isn't a Justin Bieber concert like your used to Country Boy, THIS IS STAGECOACH!!!!!

Party hard on friday then have a nice cool Bloody Mary and I'm good to go another 2 or 3 days. You must not have been before, Everyone gets plastered all day and all night! Can't wait only 26 more days until STAGECOACH!!

I have a good enough time without drinking...I cannot hold my liquor. I skip the drunk stage and go right to sick. Unless you want me puking all over your blanket I'll stick to the soda. I have a good enough time watching and laughing at all the other drunks :)

i'm all for people getting their party on, but it's no bueno when it's 4 am and you're still trying to get to sleep because the drunks in the next campsite over are being too rowdy & keeping you awake. I know a few people in the surrounding area also complained about them to the people who ran/run the campground last year (i camp offsite - much cheaper!!!)
