Have you all seen the new lake eldorado camping. How ridiculous they want $650 for a tent with 2 cots, 2 sleeping bags and 2 pillows. Why dont they just open up more RV camping like previous years. What a joke!!:eek:

Agreed!! At first I was excited, as I'm still searching for general tent camping spot... and then I saw those outrageous prices!

I was excited too... until I saw the absolutely rediculous prices. Makes me mad, just open up more regular tent camping or RV sites. This event is starting to get out of control

Right?? Considering times are tought and how many people are still searching for sold out tent camping... you would think they would use that space to fill the need for a decent price.

All this just proves that Golden Voice doesn't care about anything but the $$$$!! What happened to the "Stick and Ball" RV area that was behind El Dorado II last year? With all the RV and Camping sold out this year, it makes no sense that they eliminated an RV area....

Are you freaking kidding me? $650 for a tent and a cot????? For $650 I would stay in a luxury hotel and take a cab (maybe a limo) to and from the site!

So does anybody know why they didn't do the "Stick and Ball" RV area behind El Dorado II? It was there last year?
because they want to sell these tents for 650 or 900... more money for them instead of the 250 they charged last year for stick n balls

this lake area is new area that did not exist last year (not used) and is not the stick and ball area. this lake area land does not want rvs around the lake.
so maybe you can tell us why they set the price so HIGH!!!

From the looks of it, and being that only the campers can enter, it doesn't look like Stagecoach is the one that is in charge of it. It looks like the city is doing it or whomever is in charge of the lake. If so, That would explain why the price is so high. Just a thought, I could be way off.
