I can see them adding another big name, ZBB or Lady A
That is a lot of work bnlfan. Thank you
I'm super excited to see and check out the smaller stages. Every year those artists have been the ones not to miss. It's old school mixed in with the new school.

This year at first I was not that impressed with the line-up but now having spent some time looking at all of the artists, I am looking forward to seeing Stealing Angels. They will have their first album out in April and from some of the little I have heard of their songs they should really rock. Like when Lady A was at Stagecoach. It looks to be a great event! Can't wait!

dang you guys... how do you remember all those acts? I agree about side stages.. sometimes those acts are worth the price of admission. Closer, and in the shade. Wish they had more hay bales to sit on, because if we stand, there's always some one behind us telling us to sit down!
Oh.. SPKemo, I loved Mike Ness too.... !
09 - Earl Scruggs, Doyle Lawson, The Infamous Stringdusters, Chris Stuart and Back Country, Waddie Mitchell, Charlie Daniels Band, Reverend Horton Heat, Kevin Costner and Modern West, Lynn Anderson, Sacred Cowboys, Maxim Ludwig and the Santa Fe Seven, John Linn Band, Hot Club of Cowtown, Ralph Stanley, Ricky Scaggs, Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band, Greensky Bluegrass, Dale Watson, Jim Lauderdale & the Dream Players, The Knitters, Poco, Pure Prairie League, Jerry Jeff Walker, The Duhks, James Intveld,
Who stood out for me was Charlie Daniels Band and Pure Prairie League. Really glad to see James Intveld in Burbank with Miss B. Really UP CLOSE and super PERSONAL

In '09 Charlie Daniels and the Reverend were awesome.
My favorite side stage act through the years is Jack Ingram. Hoping this year he's still a big name on the side stage, and not a small act on the mane stage. Way more fun and intimate over there.

Rascal Flatts should close out on Sunday night. Just my honest opinion, but they're having a bigger year than Carrie Underwood, what with the Flatts' "Nothing like This Tour". Carrie really doesn't have anything going on that she needs to "promote".
speaking of past SC years, i feel that Kid Rock really should've closed the show on Sunday night of SC '09 instead of Kenny Chesney. I'm a Kid Rock fan so you can take this however you want to take it, but he was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more pumped up and energetic, and by the time Kenny came on after that, everyone was just so "done" and ready to go to wherever they were staying and go sleep (or whatever it may have been), and it really wasn't Kenny's fault because his set was amazing too......

Chesneys proformance in 09 blew! rumor has it that he apparently had a rough night in vegas the night before.... hell he left the stage in the middle of his performance... with that inmind i know he has to be 100 times better this year!

i remember hearing that, that he'd had a bad night in vegas the night before. I didn't know he actually left the stage in the middle of that performance!!!! I do remember thinking that he was off his game that particular night because i had seen him on the "Poets & Pirates Tour" in 2008 and he was ON IT then. Ditto when i saw him in Cheyenne the following July of '09, after Stagecoach.
i felt bad for my friend who had driven to Stagecoach from Oceanside to see Kenny perform at Stagecoach '09. She was new to country music at the time, but loved Kenny. She left that performance and was like "man, that SUCKED". I had to assure her that Kenny's performances were usually spot on and she probably just caught him on a bad night.
She's coming to Stagecoach with me again this year (it'll be our 3rd year going) and she's like "Kenny HAS to be better this year"!!!
I had the reserved seets and yeah he briefly exited the stage... i was suprised... i think there is a thread about it on the messag board somewhere

Perhaps he needed the restrooms ~smile~............but I think his performance was very good and I think Rascal Flatts should close Saturday night and go overtime too ~smile~ weeeee
Have been to all the Stagecoach Festivals and they're the best going.........kudos to the promoters!!!..................however, pleaseeeee do not bring back 3 days - specially if you're going to sell one day tickets - that was a mess and too many freakin drunks and rude people.............although was awesome to again see the Eagles!!

Thanks for the line up. I just wanted to say that Truth & Salvage is an incredibly awesome local band that is playing the festival again this year and I would encourage folks to get out to see them too (day undetermined). Last year the power went out during their set. Rather than leave the stage...they got into the middle of the tent, invited everyone to gather closer, and played acoustically for the set. It was awesome. When finally the power came back on, they amped up and did a couple more songs!

Where's the Set-Times at? Thought they would have them up by now, or any new information for that matter, seems like they are not updating their website that much, would like to know if the festival map that is up is the correct one for this year. Can't wait for StageCoach 2011!

Funny people talking about the 09 Kenny Chesney, how about the 07/ 08 Tim McGraw.... OMG that was rediculous... showed up like 30-40 mins late and "rumor mill" was he was not himself... hahahaha you can interpret how you like, seem to remember he forgot the words to one of the songs.... very dissapointing, saw him with the wifey and he was awesome.... OK, now I LOVE George, but year #1, during the George Strait set closing on Saturday night the crowd EMPTIED..... was way way too slow, everyone hit the RV park to recharge the batteries for Sunday Kenny..... was soooo sad !

Same happened last year when Keith Urban closed... and the year Carrie played, all ballads. I hope she picks it up this year!

Mostly agree with the thoughts on Tim and George,,,,,,,,,but WOW I thought Keith was awesome, Sugarland was awesome, and ohhhhh Rascal Flatts is always awesome.. Toby was awesome, B&D are always awesome (boohoo)......and betcha Carrie's gonna do How Great Thou are ~smile~!! (perhaps Vince will be the surprise guest..nahhhh)!! Just have fun everyone!!!

Have to admit, while I do enjoy many of Keith Urban's songs, was not the highlight. When I'm at a concert like Stagecoach, it is energy I am looking for, although Keith Urban did have some moments and he is an awesome musician, many of his songs kind of lose me in that setting.
Carrie, OMG could just look at her sing all night long.... hahaha
This year, really looking forward to Easton Corbin, Darius, Kenny (of Course), Carrie and Rascal Flatts (just saw them a few months ago - just love their songs and energy). The reality of this event is that it is just a great environment and hanging with your friends.
True fact is that actually seeing the show has gotten worse over the years from the first one's. When they used to have the stage back in the North/West corner, we would run in the door at noon, set our chairs and get as close as we could. You could actually see something. Now with the complete overhaul a few years ago, the set up now only favors the Reserved Seating. The Mane stage has gotten way to big and unless you shell out the big duckets, with the fences and how far back you start, it is tougher. Now we don't even bother rushing the gate at noon. Hell, we don't even carry chairs in anymore some days. We just squish in as close as we can and enjoy the music. As this event has gotten bigger and now is HUGE, it actually has gotten worse. Not that the folks at Goldenvoice care, cuz their are making HUGE BANK cuz us country fans just don't care and keep shelling out the coin. With what the Eldo I campground costs (and yes is packed - although we used to all bring motorhomes (used to be 4 or 5) now we all squeeze into 2 and shove as much as we can into that little 20x50 slice of heaven. You would never know their is a crappy economy out there based on how fast the campsites sold out this year ---- OH yeah, and HOW QUICKLY that $99 special dissapeared (don't think we didn't notice Goldenvoice folks) - they were watching ticket sales go through the roof and pulled it within a few days.
The one's I am laughing at now are all those ticket brokers who used their normal tactics of sucking up thousands of tickets out the gate so they could sell at exhorbitant prices when it sold out. Looks like based on craigslist they really didn't understand the product they were buying. If it doesn't sell out, you can't charge the premium. Get 25 updates a day on my smartphone from craigslist now trying to unload. I hope they all get stuck with huge inventory.... ok, sermon over..... let the party begin. 2.5 days till we hit the road. 2.8 days till the party begins, woo hoo.

Will agree the first year was the best - totally! However, have enjoyed all of them and look forward to this year also!!
and Bigdog22 I loveeeeee you!! not many men admit to liking Rascal Flatts and yeppppp their songs are awesome .....the lyrics fantastic ....and for some unknown reason I loveeeeee Gary Levox - have been to see them 4 times now and love them more each time!! I think they've even topped the Beatles and Eagles for me!!

hahaha Gary Levox is my hero & alter ego..... I figure, here is a dude who is a little goofy looking, not a skinny little dude and he is a stud.... my alter ego..... when I grow up I wanna be him.... oh yah, and sometimes his voice sounds a little funny.... but they are AWESOME....

agrees with you totally and yeppp that voice can break a time or two but man they put on a great show and I'll continue to support them as long as they continue to make the beautiful music they make now!!
LOL when you grow up!!!

PS God Bless the Broken Road is my all time fav song!!!
bigdog - totally agree with your sermon on most points. But i don't think it's a money-making malicious intention on GV's part that has driven the festival to mass amounts of people. Just THAT many people wanna go to SC now, whatareya gonna do? On one hand, I want it to stay our little secret and keep it small. But on the other hand, I'm excited for the success, and that country music can garner that much of a presence in SoCal, cuz I swear we get left off the map a lot. Agreed on the caddy corner stage setup. HATED that. Especially since it negated the use of the good white tent VIP area. Believe me, If I could go back and bottle the first year, I would too. Most amazing SC ever. Only 12 thousand of us there each day. Ahhhhhhh.

Your correct - GV greedy part is more aimed at the way the camping prices have gone through the roof..... can't blame them from a business standpoint, there are a ton of very "expensive" motorhomes in ED1, so the basic premises of supply and demand shall always prevail..... but damn the pocket book get's light just for a patch 'o grass....
If it was overpriced, they wouldn't sell out I guess!

The year that they gave X amount of wristbands per RV and any additional ones were $50.00 a piece. Some RV people were selling their "extra" ones for $50 and some ended up paying very little for the spot.
Ahhh, I haven't been part of the camping side so it's not even on my radar. But I have heard that complaint A LOT now that you mention it. Still - it sold out in record time, right? That's the greedy part... they know people are gonna do whatever they need to in order to get the spot. Pretty soon ED1 is gonna be like getting a gold circle ticket in P1 at the show.... impossible!!!! LOL I gotta say - that camping gig is where the party is AT for sure. I need to find some of these awesome SCMB peeps out there and party with you guys!

I would love it if they did that again. With only two in my motorhome I could recoup some of the spot cost. :)
