So I am still looking for ED II Camping and was checking CRAIGSLIST to see what is avaiable... and some one is selling it for 1300 bucks.... thats over a thousand dollars above face value... this is a little rediculous i have attened stagecoach every year and camped each year... once in ED I and the rest in ED II and hae never seen them this high... who ever is in charge let the scalpers get a hold of to many tickets and us fans have to suffer... 1000 bucks above face value is sickening... 1300 freakin dollars for a camp spot that cost 250? I hope no one spends this kind of money on these tickets... I hope it turns around and bites them on the ass..... What happened to all the nice people in the world? Lord save us all
Also some one on craigslist has ED II camp spot and wants to trade it for a ED I plus cash... so just a heads up for someone that has a ticket to trade...
IF ANYONE HAS A ED II FOR SALE PLEASE HELP ME OUT... I NEED A CAMPING TICKET!!! I WILL BUY IT BUT NOT FOR 1300 FREAKIN DOLLARS... PLEASE BE FARE... THANKS

I hope they end up eating those tickets... but its a bummer for the fans. I hate scalpers.

Joey... Totally know where your at.... I haven't missed a year yet. I cant find an ED II below $700. If these scalpers are going to SC I hope their motorhome catches fire on the way there!

My guess is they are NOT going to Stagecoach. My guess is they bought tickets to do just this, sell as scalpers.
Would love to set up a "meeting" to buy the ticket and then bitch slap the jerk!

There is one on ebay right now with a couple people bidding. Started at $650...10 bids... already at $790. I guess some people are willing to pay when they miss the original sale date.
WOW...that is crazy. Just goes to show you how hot Stagecoach tickets really are now.
That first year in 07 in the parking lot having scalpers approach us with GA tickets they were selling for $20.00 bucks each! LOL
I have only once purchased a concert ticket with tickets now and felt it was a rip off but at least I knew it was a legit ticket.
Help! 50 days away and i still don't have camping lined up!!! some one anyone please sell me a camping spot! ED II maybe ED I i just want to go! if you know anyone that has one and isn't trying to rip me off please give me there info so i can contact em I NEED CAMPING

I got mine for $650 about 2 months ago. I wasn't happy about it, but I suppose I'm just happy we're able to be in EDII again this year.

Joey, I'm desperately hunting for camping but I need tent as we totally struck out with an RV rental anywhere in the area (even back in the Fall. Stagecoach is getting too popular!) I'll keep my eyes open for ED2 and let u know if I come across anything that's not insanely priced!
Screw the scalpers... they r ruining all the fun!!!

Craigslist L.A. someone has one for 750.00 located in Bellflower.
See this is why i love this festival.... everyone is so nice! will take the time out of there day to look for camping for someone else.... and then come on here and post it for them! Thank you all for the info...
I have camping lined up to be purchased tomorrow after noon! If everthing goes right i will offically be back in ED II again!!! 4 weeks to go!

She may still have a spot left as one of my friends was lucky enough to snag one from someone else before I got to her. Price seemed reasonable considering how expensive these are all going for. May be worth a shot

I deleted it... how do u know it was a scam? There are lots of sketchy ads on CL, I thought that actually seemed like one of the better ones. Sorry, poor judgment on my part. I'll take your word for it that it was a bad one. For those using CL tho, beware there are a bunch of ads that are all in almost the exact same format with different names but they all have a link to the same site where you "purchase" the tix. The prices they are asking seem reasonable which draws you in, so beware! I'm pretty sure those are total rip-offs.

BEWARE of someone that posts the same thing every other day and someone who posts the same thing a few times. also dont buy a printed ticket without all the persons info and if its printed meet them at their house. I already got screwed $1000 on printed tickets =( Hard tics are the way to go.

Thank you for the heads up..I'm not on CL enough to spot the scams, so any good tip ( money gram ) is good. especially with so many people wanting Stagecoach camping tickets.
Wish there was a way to track them.

I purchased a ticket and camping from a stranger, but we both signed a promissory (email and scan) note and I paid with a money order and she sent the tickets certified mail for tracking purposes. If the tickets are legit, the seller shouldn't have any problems signing a small contract. I think it's the safest way to go. If they don't want to sign, then I would be suspicious.

I would pay through PayPal if you are buying any of this stuff. PayPal has buyer protection so if the tickets are fake you can file a form with them and they will refund your money.
