So I host a weekly country radio show on AKAradio.com titled "The Ranch w/Big Willy J". We are very excited because this year we will be covering, in person, the Stagecoach Country Festival.

We were just browsing through the lodging options and wow. I didn't expect the tent camping to sell out so fast. And we don't have an RV so can't do that either. So we are kind of scratching my heads.

Anyone out there that would be willing to let us put a tent on their RV spot? Or someone that is willing to sell a tent camping spot? We have some funding, but not a lot. And especially not enough to pay 70 or 80 dollars a night for a hotel room.

Thanks so much.. You can reply to this mssg or you can email me directly at: notpictureperfect@gmail.com

I wasn't dreaming.. I did find some hotels for those rates, but those were the cheapest. What I was meaning by putting that in there was the fact that I can't afford to pay that price per night because we have a small budget for lodging.

I think a lot of people were surprised the camping sold out so quickly. Not sure if scalpers bought them up to make a buck. If so, don't feed them! There may be legitimate offers to buy camping passes close to the date. As well as offers to share RV space. You may find someone willing to let you pitch your tent for a nominal fee. Stagecoach Rv'ers are a generous bunch. But check out the motels a few miles away. Motel 6, Tropics, Econo lodge etc. Not fancy, but a clean room, and showers.
Glad to hear you'll be covering the weekend event. Send me a pm with your info, if I hear of anything I'll pass it on to you.

Boots.. Thanks for the reply and I will pm you with my info. Yeah I've checked all the local hotels that are within a reasonable driving distance and they are either sold out or $100 a night (or more). Thanks again.

you better jump on one for $100 per night....lol Most of them close to the venue are sold out and if they are not sold out, they run upwards of $300 per night. From what I have seen. Good luck.
