no, you can always meet up with your friends from the message board
Folks meet others here and then meet up there

not crazy at all... last year we went in a goup of 4 and by the end of the weekend we had 13 people camping with us some random strangers

You'll never be alone at Stagecoach. 60,000 of your closest friends will be there with you. Many people start posting about meeting up and before you know it you'll be with a fun group.
Many people do go alone and never complain. There are advantages. Just watch.. you'll get opinions.
The message board has always been a good place to make arrangements. Stay connected.

Yep - what they've said. I started getting more "active" on the boards after the first SC and met up with some people at the 08 one and still are friends with them! By the time we did tent camping in 09, there were about 30+ people in our little "group!" :)

(I'm sorry, that didn't really answer your "am I crazy for going alone." - No, you definitely wouldn't be the only one!
I will be going alone again this year. :)
I only have to worry about myself. Can come and go as I please and see the artists I want to see and when. It's the only way to go.
