i know i am jumping the gun, as i just saw that SC 2011 tickets don't even go on sale until 11/5 but what the hey.....
is there anyone planning on camping off site this year? last year when i went to SC, we had a camp site at Lake Cahuilla. It was, like, 5 miles from the Empire Polo Field and i think it was $70 for the entire weekend, as opposed to $150+ to get a motel room that weekend.
i plan on going to SC again this year and money is really tight for me right now so this is the way i'm going to do it this year. I was wondering if there would be anyone here who would be interested in sharing a camping site that weekend. Last year i think the campground rules were no more than 6 people per campsite and no more than 2 cars. So if someone here has 4 or less people in their group and would like to share a camp space with two more girls, that'd be great (i have my own tent)!!!
(we may need to carpool there and back though because if the limit is still 2 cars per campsite, my friend and i are traveling separately due to the fact that she works 1/2 days on Saturdays and i don't work weekends at all, and if i were to drive, the other group of 1-4 people drove, AND my friend joined us later.....that'd be 3 cars. UNLESS there's someone else here who is only going in one car and would be willing to let my friend park her car @ their campsite. Just something for us to work out!!)
