As some of you know, each year they kick-off the event with the Downtown Hoedown on Fremont Street. This is a huge party with 2-3 stages set up. This year ~ Wed./Dec.1 the following bands are playing:
Randy Rodgers Band
Jason Jones (cute, cute, cute!:p)
Eli Young Band
Stealing Angels
Kevin Fowler
Trailer Choir
This is so much FUN! AND ITS'S FREEEEEEE!!!!!!:D:D:D

REALLY? crap, now I really want to go!! RRB and Kevin Fowler? ughhhh!! and Eli? We have reservations to go with a friend but dont know if we can pull it off financially. damn though..weds night...hmmmm:confused:
NOT THAT IS A COOL LINE UP..and on a weds!!!

OMG, I wanna gooooo! I have ZERO time off left at work though and couldn't do a week day. Damn damn damn. I am dying to see Randy Rodgers Band!

well, a quick search of his site shows them playing the viper room on dec. 10th...
Who are they? Not ringing a bell. Viper room is so close I could crawl to it from my place.

Randy Rodgers Band???? Check out their music, they have 2 songs I totally adore and I can't think of the names right now. One is something with "miss" in it. Crap, it's too early for me to think. My old Texas flame introduced me to them.

When is the race?

The Race is actually in March but Champions week in December has the stock cars drive down the strip, awards banquet, and red carpet events :0)

I am driving . . . and yeah the free concerts overlap with the NASCAR champions week dates. Well let me know if you are interested :0)
