Not interested in seeing him again after Throwdown. He's good on the radio but I found him to be boring in concert.

I agree. I saw him at Club Nokia with Randy Houser. Randy was very entertaining....Jamey kind of put me to sleep. I LOVE his music, just not at a concert. Jamey only got interesting that night when Lit and Deanna Carter came out and did some songs with him.
I hope you enjoy it though!

I love his music so definitely excited to see him... I saw him at a little bar called the limelight in Nashville with Randy Houser... Jamey was hammered, but it was awesome.. probably the only new artist that really brings the old merle and don williams feel to country again... love it...

Yeah..some concerts are boring. My most boring one, and hard to say this: George Strait in Vegas. He played at the MGM i believe where he shot the move Pure Country. Couldnt stand up and dance, more of a mellow piano bar type feeling.
I can see Jamey being like Merle etc, so I would totally enjoy it, just kick back and listen to his talent and music.

Yeah but not all concerts can be a crazy party and light show.. sometimes its just a man and his guitar... Those are awesome some times... It's just a different show.. Doesn't mean it's a bad show...

This will be a good show! He definitely shines in smaller venues where his audience connects. His new record is great! Have fun!!

I am with the majority here - he just isnt a concert kinda performer. It put the entire throwdown to a hault . . .

Yeah, I can agree with that... Defenitely more made for an intimate setting.. I love him wherever though! We will let y'all know how it was tomorrow...

Who is Honkeytonker?
From left to right, my friend Brenda, then Mike (Wagonwheelfestival) and his fiance Danielle, then Beau, my husband and me on his lap.
Yep, VIP all the way baby, and seeing Zac..that was so cool. Just hung out with his Bubba keg in hand.
I have to say, he put on an amazing show. Yeah, he stands and plays, but just like Willie, Hank and Merle....it was exactly what I thought it would be. Wish we could of danced a few two steps, but no room.
