I know I love hitting up Stagecoach with my favorite artists, so here's my newest one :) I thought I'd share an artist I've been following for quite a while- Trace Adkins. I posted a few youtube vids of him before, but his new album is finally...almost out! It comes out tomorrow on Amazon at http://bit.ly/9i0rXB. I've been following him since he started with his first single in '96. (If you wanna check it out "There's a Girl in Texas") He might also be familiar to anyone who watches the Apprentice. I was rooting for him, but he ended up getting runner up. Either way, he keeps busy! His new album comes out tomorrow and I'm so stoked. Actually pre-ordered his album last month, so this has been long awaited.

I found his behind the scenes interview on Amazon before ordering the album. Reminds me of why I'm such a Adkins fan. :] http://bit.ly/9i0rXB

Can't say I didn't think it, but I think misspatty's intent comes from a good place. She's always positive in all of her posts. :D

I completely agree with you Chev. Turning us on to Trace LOL. But miss patty has turned me on to some artists I've never heard of before and I appreciate that.

I'm always hesitant to click any of the links she posts... seems weird.

Well that explains it.

The links go to Amazon through her referral link. If you click on the link and buy anything on Amazon she gets a commission.

That is probably against the rules here and cause for banning (at least it is on most sites). At best this is spamming.

That would make more sense. I mean...why would you send someone to Amazon? why not just to their website to see pics etc..or hear music free at myspace etc. Good catch!

But again, I love the positive posts..just dont need the links.

I NEVER click on the links but I do google the artist and check em out. The ONLY CD I have EVER purchased on Amazon was because of you Kymery. It was 1.99 and Randy Houser because I couldn't find it in the stores. My old school ways of buying CD's are turning into a dying art BUT I still do so because I love reading the jackets.

Hey...speak of a great deal...(no I don't get commission), but Amazon's deal of the day is Dwight Yoakam, Live for $2.99!!

Also if you go to Amazon.com and do a search in the MP3 downloads, then "free" you get a huge list of free downloads to choose from...pretty cool!!:D

I know I know...but I get so nervous with limewire etc..and they dont all come over good, some volumes are so low and the quality is not as good, worth a free "legal' download for a $2.99 for better quality. Unless I am doing it wrong??
