Hey anyone ever been to or heard of the Red Bull Flugtag? I've never been but always wanted to check it out. It is happening this Sat in LB. If we get a group out there we can check out Feiny's breakfast spot.

Iiiinteresting! I may be up for it - depends on when my carpets at work get cleaned. I'm last on the list, so if there's a delay my Thursday and Friday work may get pushed back to Saturday.

Oh damn, I've always wanted to check that out. I will be at the Cowboys game in San Diego Saturday though. I got Field seats on the 40 yard line, row 20, for $50 from a friend at work. They only do that once a year, huh? The flugtag that is.

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure it's only once a year. At least in the So Cal area.

Awww I totally want to go to this have been trying to go for the past 3 years and something always comes up - this year I have to work and cant find anyone to switch - have fun though should be a blast!!

Sounds like fun but I'm taking my dogs to the dodger game that night and don't want to make the trek back and fourth.

I'm having an "Aunt Kitty" evening of hanging out with the nephews - my sister and her hubby will be there for Weezer!

It did get a bit monotonous after about 15 or so flights. None of the "aircraft" can really fly. They just tumble off the end of the ramp into the water.

I got a text from Crystal at the flugtag and then never heard back from her again so I didn't see her.

It was SUPER fun - it was great to get an upclose look at the crafts before the flights and the participants went ALL out!! Decorations, costumes, skits, and taking pics with the spectators. Not very many of them made it very far but the crafts were really cool . . . I will post pics on FB soon!

Roy - I texted u telling u I was over by the GIANT redbull tent over by the food court . . . but never got a reply back from u . . . but it seemed that with all of the people it was hard to get texts and calls to go through on the first try.
