Manhattan beach concerts in the park has a country band playing sunday afternoon. Not sure who the band is It's at polliwog park. BYO food and drink. picnic atmosphere gets pretty busy. It's usually a fun time no matter what style music is playing. You can bring alcohol just don't flaunt it. Maybe some red cups. Let me know how those shrimp turn out kymery.

The broth works for about 6 servings. We use a 2 lb bag of shrimp each time and end up getting 3 meals out of a batch for the 2 of us. Still too spicy for the kids. They aren't to big on shrimp yet anyway. They are starting to like lobster. Tack on another $20 every time I bbq lobsters. I modified that recipe 2. We're trying it again soon to see if better method or just really good tails the last time I did em. We get fresh maine lobsters at the farmers market up the street for $10 each.
