Hey guys! Just letting you know that KL, Hayden and I got tickets to see him September 9th at Gibson. Jack Ingram is opening. There is a Citi Cards pre-sale today and tomorrow is the Live Nation pre-sale. Public on-sale is Saturday. Hopefully we'll see some of you there!

I know what you're sayin' ~ been a BIG Gary Allan fan since 1995 and was 1 click away from buying tickets when I realized....................I'm gonna be in Nashville on Sept. 9th!!!
Seems like every time he's in L.A. I'm somewhere else....UGH!:(

YAY! It will be a great show! It looks like the event time is 8:15? I have no idea what time I'll make it there by since I'll be coming from Anaheim, so if you guys decide to meet up early, just tell where and I'll find you if I happen to make it early enough! :)

Lisa... did I make a mistake on the concerts we talked about ? I thought we were trying to arrange the Rascal Flatts- Go Fest concert! The RF concert is the one we cant do because we'll be in Florida. Did I mis understand? I need to go back and read our messages! ugh, I feel like pond scum!
The Darius show is an iffy one depending on whether I get free passes into the Fair-we'd do grandstand seating.
Don't think we don't want to hang out with you and KL!! that hurts my heart that you'd think that!! :(
I cant wait to get together again!!! really!

I am soooo conflicted! Hayden invited me to the Gary Allen concert, and I wanna go, but it's also the first night of NFL. And it's the Saints vs. Vikings which is a rematch I wanna see. And I love football like ya'll love hockey. Maybe more. (Don't slap me). So what do I do? I wanna see Gary Allen cuz I've never seen him...but it's FOOTBALL!!
It's your call Chev BUT it's seeing Gary Allan & Jack Ingram LIVE vs. watching the football game on TV. If you were physically going to the game then that's choice #1.
What time is the game on?

Rose is right....live or TV. If you were going to the game it'd be a no brainer. Record the game and avoid all internet, etc. until you watch it?
If this were a hockey game on TV I'd go to the show because I've never seen Gary Allan in concert before.

I agree with Nicole. It's not a playoff game and it's not a game that you are attending. I'd DVR it, go enjoy Gary Allen, and then go home and watch the game. Just don't bring your phone into the show or you'll be tempted to check the score!

Are any of y'all meeting anywhere prior to the show? I haven't been there since I was YOUNG, so I'm gonna leave extra early because I don't know the parking sitch, etc.

Saddle Ranch is a fun place, but last time we all went there was a long wait, and the service was a bit slow. Good food and drinks though.

Last time was a weekend too wasn't it? I think that would play a big part on how busy it is. Food there is great though! I think I'm gonna skip the concert, not just because of football, but because of my foot. I'm still limping and can't wear shoes and I think I need to take it easy for awhile. If ya'll didn't read on FB, we had a rafting mishap this weekend out at Kelly's Beach. I ended up with an infected cut on my foot and am now on antibiotics and junk. Had to get a tetanus shot (my arm is SORE) and my friend came over last night and scrubbed the hell outta my foot with an iodine brush. It looks pretty gross today because she had to scrub the scabs off. Mine was the least of it I think. Most of us lost something on the river and Miss B's friend almost drowned (yes really). In the end, we all did have a really fun time, just hit a rough patch there on Sunday.

I probably can't leave work before 7 so in all likelihood I will be missing part of Jack. Can we aim to meet up in between the acts? There's no way I will be there early. =(
As for parking, there is plenty of it but I always end up in one of the structures that is furthest from the ampitheatre.

Yeah, preferred parking there is key if you can swing it, gets you right near the entrance.
I'm sorry to say this but I think the Saddle Ranch SUCKS!!! (back in the day it was Whomp Pompers) Couldn't even get a drink the last time I was there (waited 30 minutes). Everybody goes before a country concert so the place is extra packed and the staff is super slow. The only time we were able to pull it off is when I showed up 3+ hours beforehand. Still willing to go and wait if you guys want to pre hook up there since it's right across from the Gibson. I prefer Karl Strauss Brewery. Much better food and good service. It's on the upper deck about 1/2 from parking to the Gibson
Nicole, I can hook up with you early. Do you have my number? If you have not been since you were a kid up to Universal, it's COMPLETELY different. Parking is a minimum of $10 and it's on the opposite side of the venue. Plan on a hike so wear comfy shoes. You can park and ride for free on the Lankershim side BUT the bus stops going up or down the Sheraton side at 9. I can't imagine falling down that hill after a concert.

I haven't talked to Roy about tomorrow yet! But ya, we'll probably meet up there because we're coming from different areas. I may now be driving with Carly who was invited by Hayden (who Karena turned down! haha), which means we won't leave her work until at least 5. But I'm not sure if she needs to go home after, blah blah. Rose and FF, I'll PM you my number and send me yours - I'll send y'all a text once I'm there.
