I had FC seats for his show in February. They were awesome!! And with the fan club you don't pay ticketmaster fees so that's why it's a flat $64 most likely. Have fun!

Brad Paisley Announces H2O World Tour With Darius Rucker, Justin Moore
Singer-Songwriter Also Plans Concerts in England, Norway
March 22, 2010; Written by Craig Shelburne
Paisley will launch his H20 World Tour on May 21 in Virginia Beach, Va., with guests Darius Rucker and Justin Moore.
Paisley has partnered with the Hope Through Healing Hands campaign to draw attention to the fact that one out of five people around the world lacks access to safe drinking water. Donations will be made to the campaign during each tour stop. Paisley announced his tour on Monday (March 22) on World Water Day. In addition, his next single from American Saturday Night is titled "Water."
In addition to 36 shows currently scheduled in the U.S. and Canada, Paisley will also perform his own shows in Europe. He will appear at Shepherds Bush Empire on June 23-24 in London as well as the Notodden Music Festival on June 25 in Oslo, Norway. Paisley will schedule additional shows throughout the year, with plans to visit 75 cities on the tour. The first leg of the tour, which is presented by Chevy, concludes on Sept. 25 in Denver.
The H2O World Tour will also include a Water World Plaza sponsored by Sea Ray Boats and Skinny Water. Performers in that area will include Easton Corbin ("A Little More Country Than That"), Steel Magnolia ("Keep On Lovin' You") and Josh Thompson ("Beer on the Table"). In addition to the music stage, there will be multiple water-themed activities such as a Chevy H2O FLW fishing simulator, dunking booth and Hope Through Healing Hands' campaign booth. A Corvette driving simulator will also allow fans to virtually race against Paisley -- with an opportunity to meet and greet the singer if he doesn't win.
"I've never been this excited about a tour," Paisley said. "After one of the worst winters I can remember, we're going to make up for it this summer."
Tour dates are as follows:

Ohhhh and thats not all folks!!!!
"Let me give y'all a brief rundown of what we're going for in this H2O tour," Brad tweets. "First of all, why it starts at 4 PM? We're setting up a water world plaza with fishing and Corvette race simulator, dunking booth for radio DJ's, and a separate water world plaza stage featuring Easton Corbin, Steel Magnolia and Josh Thompson. They start at 5. They are all tremendous."
Music will start on the main stage at 7:30 pm, with Justin Moore and Darius Rucker opening and Brad headlining.
"And wait til you see the set and effects," Brad teases. "It's all meant to feel like summer and water. I want you to be able to hop off your boat or outta your pool and go right to our show. Like you're on vacation. I wanna give you way more than just your money's worth. I want you to forget this crappy winter."

I saw LeAnne Rimes a few years ago at a fair and she completely disapointed me . . . . she just stood there and sang . . . didn't really dance or seem like she was having any fun. So I can't say I would ever want to see her in concert again

I saw LeAnne Rimes open for Kenny a couple of years ago at Staples and thought she put on a nice show. Definitely moved around a lot.
If you don't like performers that just stand there avoid Trace Adkins at all costs.

When you do it through the Fan Club you don't know what your seats are til you get there (at least for sure with Brad). They are typically GREAT seats, they say they try within the first 15 rows. We had AWESOME seats at Staples Center.

Yes! Martina McBride I wanna see SOOOOOOOOOOO freakin BAD!! And LeAnn Rimes is playin too. So is John Legend if anyone likes him...
I LOVE LeAnn Rimes voice...FOR ME, she does not need to dance around for a fantastic show. I saw her at State Line last year (Glorianna opened) and she sang acapella which so few artists can do and really pull it off. Then again I've been a big fan since she was 13.
John Legend, seen him twice in concert. I like him, but he is an acquired taste and I don't need to go see him again. Not sure why he was so strong out of the gate and then his career fizzled?
Now back to Brad Paisley...

Another vote for that. An annual pass then was great! Visit friends in San Diego - Sunday before going home, stop at Sea World, do some beer tasting, visit the dolpins....and maybe a few other animals if needed the time to sober up...then head home! :)

YAY! WCL, WCK, and WCG are down!!!!
k, ladies and germs, it's time to plan our tailgatin'....
NicoleErin, my advise is to get going on the road early, since the first show is at 3 PM. I'm taking the day off work. I am planning on having you, Adam and Crystal stay overnight after the show. If you all want to meet at my house and go to the crick together in one car it will be much easier. Feiny volunteered his Prius for tailgating. We can meet up with WCL and her krew at the venue. I've got her number.
SO....do you all think you can get to my place between noon and 1:00 so we can park most of the cars there, stow all the overnight things, carpool to the venue, and have a preparty in the parking lot from about 1:30 to 3:00? If so, then I will take the lead on assigning food items to bring. It will be BYOB + some to share on the booze.
My place is in the La Jolla area near the UTC mall, for those in the know.
deegee83
09-07-2010, 02:04 PM
BTW the stock directions to the venue will put you in the middle of mad traffic.
I go this way:
805 South to 905 East/Otay Mesa Road (yes, it is SOUTH of the amphitheatre)
Left on Heritage Road (a winding road through a bunch of ratty auto salvage lots)
Right on Heritage Road (it dead ends)
Left into the amphitheatre parking lot.
ALSO, word to the wise, the cops there are kind of a$$holes. If you are rowdy they WILL arrest you.
You need to hide the booze while tailgating. It should be poured into a cup. They really don't want to arrest you, but if you are walking around the parking lot with a bottle of beer they will hassle you.

So I don't think I could take off more time right now, as much as I REALLY want to. Well....maybe....lemme ask my boss tomorrow. And see if Jennifer has her tix left. Yeha, it was REALLY scary. My sister called me and my mom had passed out and peed on her and wasn't breathing. She called 911 and then my mom was breathing but irregular. I got to the hospital about 10 minutes after the ambulance. By the time they let me see her, she was ok, and more embarrassed than anything and didn't understand why everyone was makin a big fuss. They've released her now, did a bunch of tests, I think it MAY have been dehydration, but IDK. I did so much prayin on that car ride over, it was probably one of the scariest times of my life. Aw Chev glad that your mother is OK now. What a scary thing to go through, for all of the family.
We don't have tickets in hand yet - they are at will call - so it is good to have confirmation that the doors open at 4. I was for some reason under the impression that the concert started at 3 and was hyperventilating that with all of you coming down it would not leave much time for tailgating.

Hi! I'm here! (stinking work!) I was talking with Adam and I kinda like his idea - allows me to make the last PowerKrank class on Sat, and he's sorta on my way. AND! It'll keep me from drinking too much knowing I have to wake up early!
I'm quite excited for tailgating though - I'm really looking forward to those stupid Ruffle chips and dip. I'll bring that and a case of beer. My faves are Shock Top, Bud Light Lime or a Sam Adams (either Cherry Wheat, or one of the seasonals), any of those ok with you guys? I obviously can't drink it all myself. Anything else I can buy at the grocery store? I plan on stopping by Thursday after work. I'll look into my cooler situation (my dad took his back after I've had it for YEARS).
I'm with deegee when I thought acts started at 3...? Still, the earlier the better.

Yay on simple stuff. I'm down for fritos and bean dip and guac. LOL, Goes with my Dos Equis.
I have a cooler ready to roll. Chev could probably bring a second one.
Don't forget cups. All our beer has to be poured into cups at the tailgate area....don't want cop trouble.

Holler! Ok, for serious, my biggest concern is what to wear! Shorts and change into jeans? Totally wearing comfy flip flops - what sweater/jacket do I wear? haha

Jean skirt for the day and pants and light jacket for night. I plan on being drunk enough to keep me warm :D

I'm going to have to tailgate hardcore. Yom Kippur starts at sundown which means I fast until Saturday night at sundown...no food, no beer, just water.

OK so heres the thing - I kinda wanna head to the venue before 2pm especially since I want us to have time to tailgate and get our tickets before the acts start - I emailed the fan club for more info about the concert but I was under the impression the first act started at 3 or 4pm so I think doors open at 3 and first act is at 4. But like I said I should have exact info soon. I have no idea what to expect as far as line wise to get our tickets and again I want to have time to figure it all out. The original plan was to meet at deegees at noon - that is still what I going to do because heading down to SD on a friday is usually not so nice traffic wise. I just think leaving at 2 is too late and will stress me out. I want to have a fun carefree day :0)

I have ice chests and such as well . . . So I will bring mine too. I am thinking if we plan on drinking we should have a little bit more than just chips and dip so I was thinking about picking up one of those sub sandwitches that way no one has to cook and very minimal cleanup - what do u guys think?

Well that kind of sucks. I know I'm a late addition and all, but is it really a big deal to wait for me? If this is a hassle, I can just skip it altogether. The doors open at 4pm, that's what it says on the actual ticket in my hand. Guess it COULD be wrong, but don't see why it would be. I'd like to have a fun, carefree day too an would rather go with the flow than stress on time constraints. I can't get off work until noon, just how it is for me. I will leavestraight from work and at best can be there by 1:30pm. That would put us in the venue by 2 and that's at least 2 hours of tailgating. IDK, maybe I should just forget it, it wasn't my deal in the first place.
ETA: I'm sorry if this comes across snippy, I've had a really hard week and just can't handle anymore negativity right now.

Hey all, I'm trying to figure out what time the parking lot opens...anyone know? Since parking is free (dirt lot, not really close), I wonder if you can get in early-early?
Also, John has access to one of those Margaritaville tailgate grills. Anyone want to plan on doing burgers/hotdogs?
We will also be bringing a cooler full of food/drink/snacks....
I have the day off work ;)

I'm not trying to be negative at all :0( . . . . I would just prefer to go early and start partying. I am very excited you are coming and dont want you to skip it. But would it be that big of a deal to just meet us in the parking lot?? I have been planning this/excited about this for months. The rest of us are all meeting at deegees at noon so to wait an hr and a half for one person just doesnt make sense to me. Again I am not trying to be negative or anything I just dont really want to sit around for an hour and a half waiting.

OK one thing at a time....
Shirley : I have no idea when the parking lot opens Shirley....call the venue would be my best suggestion. Text me when you get there and describe where you are parked so we can find you and your coooler! LOL! Sounds like you'll be getting in earlier than us. As far as burgers and dogs before the show, I'm not up for it, but maybe someone else is.
NicoleErin : there are porta potties...lots of them...in the dirt parking lot. Drink away.
Crystal: The tickets say on them gates open at 4. So, the timing is going to work out fine. There is a lot of distance to travel for all of you coming down, not just to my house, but also to the venue...but if we can somehow all get to my place by 2, we'll have plenty of time to tailgate before the gates open at 4. Keep in mind also that after the show, we'll be hanging out at the car/tailgating for probably an hour. There's no use driving away due to the traffic getting out. Also, it will be time for Adam to eat and drink :)
YES I like the sandwich idea. Good thinking. NicoleErin, Adam and Chev? You like that idea too? NO we don't need another large cooler. Two big ones will be enough.
Chev: I think it will be fine timewise if you hit the road at noon from work since the tix say gates open at 4. You'll have time to put your stuff down at my place and then we'll carpool in Adam's Prius to the venue at 2. That puts us at the venue at about 2:30. OH and I thought of something else to bring.... a blowup mattress, sleeping bag, and pillow. Lauren won't be giving her bed up for you.
CHEERS it's almost here!

I just got off the phone with the venue since there was so much confusion. The parking lot opens at 2:30. The parking lot stage starts at 4. The main stage opens at 7:30.
What this means is that we should get to the venue as early as possible because there will be a huge line to get into the parking lot at 2:30.

Perfect, sounds like I'll make it in time! If it's anything like Verizon, it shouldn't be TOO crowded (we had NO trouble at Country Throwdown, tons of space), but I'm not sure if Cricket Wireless is similar or not. If you guys are gettin to Michele's at noon, start your drinkin, I'll catch up!!
Sandwiches are a great idea!
Shirley, yay, we'll get to meet up there! Not sure about BBQing, I might steal a burger if you're cookin em though!
WE will have PLENTY of tailgating time if we get there at 2:30, and I can't see any reason we wouldn't get there by then. That leaves FIVE hours if some of us only watch the main stage acts (who's playing the small stage??).
Is your couch still open Michele? And no worries, I can bring whatever if not! Oh, I have to leave by 8am Saturday morning, I have a dang football game to play at 10am. It's only an hour and then I'll meet you at my place and we can do SevenStock, sound ok? Sorry, meant to call you about this, call me this evening if you wanna go over details!

CHEV: Sure, but my couch has two spots Chev. Bottom line is that you have to sort out that with Adam and Nicole! One person will be on the floor, so that's why I need a blowup/aerobed. Crystal has dibs on the futon in the guest room/office.
Sounds like we have a grip on the logistics now that Feiny got the official word on the parking lot opening time and the small stage set start time.

Adam is not bringing a cooler as far as I know.
So.....
Suggestiones para tu problemo:
1. get a small cooler at the drug store like a lunch pack and put a frozen blue ice thingy in it
2. Wrap it up in newspaper with a ziploc baggie of ice, then wrap again in a brown paper bag
Once you get to my place it can be transferred to an ice-cold cooler for the trip to the venue.

This was SOOOOO much fun! I had a lawn ticket and ended up hanging out with onebadcountryboy and his wife Shellie and their friends. I'm glad I've seen the 3 artists on the main stage up close in the past because I couldn't see anything from the lawn. However, I had an AMAZING time just dancing my butt off to the music and drinking my weight in liquor. UncleFeiny tried to pimp me out to a teenage boy at the end, lol. I also got guitar picks from Steel Magnolia and Brad (thanks to UncleFeiny on the Brad pick!). Thank you thank you Jennifer again for the ticket. I am soooo glad I went. Oh, and we were the only 2 cars in the parking lot almost the entire time, joined at the other end by 4 other cars, but other than that it was COMPLETELY empty. So the time thing didn't end up being an issue!
