Headliners for 2011 ???????

I agree, chart toppers are big. And like you said, if we could get Garth, we would. They have to want to come to SC first, then it has to fit there schedule, then they have to be allowed to go by the label.

I think the biggest grip on the board is the repeats. But what can you do. Just because you knocked it out of the park a few years ago with big names, does that mean we can't bring them back when they are still huge a few years later. Just because I feel it's weak, that only puts me in the small minority. These artists put up big numbers in the charts and will be the reason for big number ticket sales also.

And I will be there to see it all.

i totally agree with you on this one..... why one person thinks that he or she has the presale code and nobody else does...

So, ill just take my chances tomorrow morning on getting good seats in P2 and hopefully this year, there is no seating chart mishaps cause that was rediculous

yes we did...... i think it turned into a bigger hassle than anticipated... i was almost to the point of just getting my money back but in the end, im glad i didnt.

Every year i go to stagecoach i come back with so many great memories and the overall experience of meeting new people and hanging out with old friends is priceless....... well, ok. not totally priceless when you go to stagecoach. lol

yes, well the seating chart being on the stagecoach festival website was not the problem last year. the problem was that when you clicked on the layaway link it brought up a different seating chart and most of us weren't sure which seating chart to buy off of. so we took a chance and bought tix based on the one on the link and got screwed. and it took forever to get resolved and lots, lots and LOTS of email, phone calls and hassle to get resolution (months in fact). But again, it is a fun time and if not for the friends we have made on this board from year 1 we would not return. Certainly nothing on the promoters part has brought me back year after year. The overall camping with friends and other board members is what brings me back, year after year. I have just learned not to expect too much, relax and just be prepared for the new fees the following year. Worth it? yes, at this point still worth it.

1000000% agree with you..... its not just the musicans that help me come back but like you said, the friends you make on this board and certianly the friends that you make there.

At least for me, every year my wife and i have gone we always seem to make alot of new friends who we still stay in contact with today and most of them join us at the festival

I saw Daryl Worely one summer when KKGO was doing that concert series at that RV place in Irvine. Nice!! Wish they would bring something like that back :(

Hate to say it....I saw him with Randy Houser at Club Nokia and he was ok....and then at Country Throwdown I thought he wasn't that fun to watch. So I'm with Psycho on this one. Don't get me wrong, I love his music, just not at a concert.

2008 = No Brainer
2009 = Tiny indecision - Zac Brown (fantastic), Brad Paisley (excellent) , Reba (nice enough show), . . . I just went, and it was fun. I figured I could take a bathroom/bar break while Kid Rock was up. He (and Miranda) surprisingly did good.
Chesney sucked eeeenourmously.
2010 = Too weak to attend - my decision was vindicated post-mortem, with all the subsequent complaints of pricing, parking, etc. . .
2011 = Terribly weak marquee acts (except Carrie) . . . sorry - maybe next year.

I just don't get it. Such a fantastic venue, so many potential fans. Are these artists really so booked up ?

Well, I was in the really not going group before the tickets went on sale, I have been to 07,08,09,10.
I just could not stop my fingers from buying tickets for 11. It does seem like every year they have a little less acts, but its the experiance for me that keeps me coming back year after year.
Now anyone care to guess who will not show up that is listed and who they will add?
Hopefully a friday night set would be great. Anyway can't wait until it starts!
