At least 14 arrests made during Stagecoach festival
Blake Herzog The Desert Sun April 26, 2010
Six arrests, one for assault and the rest for drunk and disorderly conduct, were made Sunday at the Stagecoach California Country Music Festival, Indio police spokesman Ben Guitron said.
He was unsure about the extent of any injuries in the assault case, but said the suspect and victim had both been drinking alcohol.
Of the eight arrests spurred Saturday by the 50,000 music fans at the Empire Polo Club, seven were for drunk and disorderly conduct and one for possession of drugs for sale.
There were a total of 14 arrests reported as of Sunday evening.
It took officers two and a half hours to get all drivers out of the site's parking lot after the last shows ended 11 p.m. Saturday, Guitron said, which is pretty typical for the event.
It's not like clearing church, he said.

I think there were less than 20 for the entire three days. And that was about 80,000 people each day.

"Official" arrests don't depict the vast number of individuals that should've been taken into custody.

Looking at the overall picture... I thought for the amount of people, and alcohol... everybody was on there best behavior. For the most part, I didn't see too many problems. It could have been much worse... country music has some great fans.

for 60-75k a day, a total of 14 arrests is an AMAZING low number. to b some place with THAT MANY people, and have 99.9% of them respecting everyone else is a true testiment.
