i said it earlier but the folks with the RV bailed on me so im scrounging for something .. and i have a 72' vw bus, would that classify as a vehicle for sleeping?

I don't think so... they would concider that sleeping in your vehicle... at Cochella they had vehicle camping... tent right next to your car. Wonder why they don't do this for Stagecoach.
I think you are only allowed 50' max.
Someone else posted in another thread somewhere that they brought in a van that was converted for sleeping and it was allowed.

72' is the year:)
we have a pickup with a camper attachment on the back that is going, so i figured its worth a try
1972 VW van...if I remember right the back bench folds down into a bed. (don't ask me how I know this).

this is on the web site under camping rules:
* All RVs, trailers & other such vehicles must be classified as a "vehicle made for sleeping" to enter RV camping.
If your VW Van is a camper van then yes.. if it is just a van with seating that I don't think you can camp in the RV area in it.
The pick up with the camper is probably a safer bet... but remember is says "Made for sleeping" so there should be a bed in the camper to be safe.
