I'm looking for Eldorado 2 parking and P2 Reserved seating. I don't have a big RV, just a 1966 Dodge Van (Family Camper) with a pop up. It's just going to be me and the little woman, so for the most part I think I'll only need electricity hook-ups. Water would be great, but my small tank will probably hold me through the weekend.
So in my case, the Eldorado 2 would be best for me... right? It looks like I can still get the VIP tickets on line, but what is the best/safest way to get the sold out Eldorado 2 pass?
One more question, can you bring Alcohol in the van as long as it stays in the Eldo 2? Thanks for your help! -Cory

One case of beer per person in the camping areas. No hook-ups at all in EDII. Only hook-ups available are in EDI. As for the tickets that up to you. If you want to pay the money to be up closer then go for it by all means. That's definitely a personal choice.

What tgcali said. :)
There are sometimes some people trying to sell their passes in either the "camping" or the "tickets" forums. I don't know what's there unfortunatley (only because I don't really look through those threads since I don't need to)....but you might find someone who can't go and doesn't need their RV pass.
Good luck! :)

Looks like I didn't read the info correctly. It says "Includes one 20x50 RV space and camping amenities" I guess I thought "camping amenities meant hook-ups... I told you I was a rookie. :) Not sure I want to pay $500 for Eldo 1 just for lights and the refer... maybe I'll just go powerless at Eldo 2. Is the $250, worth it in my case (Van), or should I find something else?

You would be a lucky person to only pay $500 for EDI! $750 more like it, that is IF you can find someone who has one for sale. Amenities are the showers, the little store, wi-fi, a dump truck, a water truck. It is all dry camping. Even EDI doesnt have water hookups, just electricity.'
Worth it if you dont want to wait 2 hours (as they were at coachella this weekend) to just drive in or out of the parking lots, then you gotta go find a hotel..and good luck on that one also.
FYI, camping is sold out! So you can only buy from someone who has one forsale

I've seen a few EDII listed at cost (About $280 after the fees), but most people are sellin em for a profit looks like. Good luck to you! If you make it out, come party with us!

Yeah, I've had craigs up on my screen for the last couple of hours now... I keep reloading every 15 minutes or so to see if something new pops up. Thanks.

Be careful with Craig's list anything. I cannot tell you how many fake Craig's list camping passes and tickets I saw coming through the lines at Coachella. Fake. Fake. Fake. Basically all a person has to do is buy ONE camping pass and then print out and sell as many copies as they can before the event. The first one gets scanned at the toll booth and the rest are void because they're copies.
Same with tickets. Lots of fake three day festival tickets that cannot be exchanged for a wrist band. Also .... fake wrist bands. If it's genuine it will have the scannable code on the inside. Do not be duped by Ed Hardy fakes. Do not be duped by all those "nice people" on Craig's list "trying to help you out." A lot of them are just trying to help you out of your money.
Also saw counterfeit Ticketmasters. Caveat emptor!

I've never had a problem on craigslist - I have bought and sold seriously TONS of tickets.

I'm just telling you all because as a person that actually worked at Coachella checking tickets with a scanner and handling the wristbands I had to turn at least 50 people away because they had bought fake tickets and fake camping passes on Craig's list. That was just what I had to turn away. Extrapolate that to 100 people with scanners/wristbands having to turn a like number of people away.
Just because you personally have bought x amount of tickets on Craig's list doesn't mean that there aren't people getting ripped off. I am advising people to be especially careful because if it was happening last week at Coachella it can certainly happen again this week at Stagecoach.
While most people that sell on Craig's list are honest and fair there is no regulation and the opportunity for fraud exists. Anecdotal stories don't negate the risk of being defrauded.

That sucks! So recommendation...buy the HARD tickets (a lot of people advertise it that way if they're selling tix) and get a copy of their driver's license number just in case :)
