I will have family that will be joining me on Friday night, a day after I'm already settled into my campsite in ED1. Will they be able to park our car in the free parking lot provided for tow vehicles?

I hope so because we are the same situation. Arriving and setting up on Thursday and then the rest of the group driving up on Friday. They will be parking in the free tow vehicle lot as well.

Yes, there is a huge lot for free overnight parking for the overflow of RV'rs
