A lot of the meet & greets are only available to paid fan club members. As much as I love my country music I don't love anyone enough to pay to prove I'm a "fan." I buy their records, I go to their shows and that's enough.

Sucks for CMA Fest because there are a lot of private fan club concerts that the artists do in small venues but they're only available to fan club members and by lottery. So I never get to go.

Yeah, that's what I was noticing when I researched CMA Fest (and now cant go, though I have a stinking ticket). Actually, if I knew in advance (which I'm sure doesnt happen) which artists were doing what there, I would join a couple, etc.

And, Trisa...just lie! Isn't she close enough to 14? ID is only required when you're 18!

I thought the rules were a little wonky myself. Maybe it's just standard legalese....we'll see. I'll have phone and camera in my bag. I'll also have Chev and Little Bit with me. That way if it's a go they can come and if not Chev can watch Bit for me while I go meet the boy. Either way I'll get something for Chev, an autograph or something. If I could, I'd just give her my spot. She'd get a lot more out of it than I will.

I'm so set on doing something for Chev because of all the hard work she's put in to arranging our camping. Getting the tickets, collecting the money, ordering the RVs....she's shopping for supplies. It's insane how much work she's put in. That's why I want to do this for her. I'm not trying to play favorites. Just so you all know.

That's why I joined his fan club as a matter of fact, to try to get some goody from Jason for Chev to say thank you.
