EDII Shower Trailers

Ok, I am new (and so it most if not all of my group) to EDII this year. I'm wondering if the lines to the shower trailers are as long (for the women anyhow) as the ones in the camping forum were. Anybody know??

Last year I stayed in ED1 and found that the showers in the evening had much less of a line than in the morning.

I'm definitely taking my showers in the night time this year. Last year in international the lines for the showers were a little over an hour. And that was even early early morning. But oh well, made some great friends while waiting in line! It's all part of the experience haha

an hour is NOT bad compared to tent camping, but I still would rather have less of a wait if possible. Night shower it is!

Last 2 years in ED I, my wait time at the showers were never longer than about 15-20 minutes, hoping for the same luck this year! But I like to go as early as possible. Even if you are a little hungover it's worth it to get up go shower and then you can always go back to camp and sleep for a little while longer or if you're like me just start drinkin Bloody Marys! Woot woot!!

we do but there isnt enough water for everyone to shower all of the days . . . so mostly people are supposed to shower in the shower trailers so that way we have water for hand washing, dishes, ect . . .

water in your RV will be limited... 40 gal or so. that should be enough to flush the potty, brush your teeth, rinse a few dishes. but all of you will not be able to take showers every day. however... the porta showers are pretty nice actually. warm water, seperate stalls, and most people are pretty fast. We were in ED 1 last year and all the girls took morning showers, and really had minimal wait. You will have more room to move around and suds up in the public showers.

What they^^^^ said. It's only a 40 gal tank in each RV. THat's barely enough for like 4 showers max. We'll need the water for toilet, dish washing, etc... So shower trailers it is. I imagine the line is MUCH better than tent cmaping though!

The lines for the showers was a MAJOR complaint at Coachella this year. I heard that some people waited as much as 3 hours. A lot of people waited over an hour at 6:00 a.m. Can't say if things will be different for Stagecoach.

Was this for the RV's or tent camping forum though? Tent camping forum last year, the lines were horrible, but I imagine the RV's are much better.

Was this for the RV's or tent camping forum though? Tent camping forum last year, the lines were horrible, but I imagine the RV's are much better.

I never waited more than 10 min in EDI last year for the showers. Makes me wish I was bringing my 5th wheel with 150gls of water for the four girls, but the motorhome is sooo much more luxurious but only 40 gls!! sucks.

Honestly, at Coachella the tent campers were the majority. And there were a lot more at Coachella than will be at Stagecoach. So maybe the wait won't be as long. I did hear a lot of people complaining that there weren't as many showers as in previous years and that they were clustered in one area vs. being spread around the various camping areas. I do hope you all get your showers!!!

We do, but there isn't enough water in the tanks for everyone to shower all weekend...the RV guy recommended just using the water for washing dishes, using the bathroom, etc.

As for peeing, that can be done outside.

Also, do you have plungers on your RV supply list? If not, you should. Trust me.

hahaha - this made me laugh - even though I know you probably are kinda serious. :)

More comfy - not having to make an ice run every day (hopefully) by having a fridge.... Able to cook something rather than all food outta a cooler.... That's why I'm looking forward to the RVs anyway!

My 5th wheel has 150gls, it is a toy hauler so when they build those they know people usually "dry camp" out in the middle of no where and need the water.

So with 4 girls, we cant shower in it, or we will have no toilet water or dish washing water. I always felt bad when I saw my dad driving to get more water from my mom using it all up on the first day.

And we have 40 gals, with SEVEN people (mostly girls) for 4 days. And yes, you can get more water, but it's $1 a gallon and you have to pay $35 to dump the waste water, so those are some expensive showers! And to....well sh*t in the RV's is just not courteous to the other six people you are sharing it with! And.....most of the time it doesn't flush well, and yeah, I gag EASILY!

RE: Showers

After a recon to the Polo grounds to retrieve my credentials to work at Stagecoach I have confirmed that there are 7 shower trailers sandwiched between Lot 7 (Companion Parking), Lot 8 (El Dorado 1), and Lot 10A (El Dorado 2). There are an additional 3 shower trailers near Lot 12A (car camping & Safari Tent camping).

I will be on site all day tomorrow and will post here if anything changes.
