I know we need to get through SC first, but thought I'd see if a group would wanna get together and head to Cowboy Country in LB on April 30th. Love & Theft is supposed to be there, so I thought it would be pretty cool to see them before they get super big and start charging an arm and a leg to see them! Anybody wanna join me?

Yea, I went to the Love & Theft website and the date is listed for their tour....BUT - clicked the "buy tickets" link and I'm blocked at work.

IHML tried it and it just takes you to the Go Country website - and April 30th isn't even listed (maybe just not YET??) Weird.

I'm thinking kinda to the left of the stage (if facing it) - by the dance floor? Easier to get to the dance floor if anyone stays for some line dancing after the show? I'll stay a bit - but don't plan on staying TOO late (then again, I've closed down bars after saying that!)

They are such nice guys...they let all of us get pictures with them and chatted after their show. I think this is a group to keep our eyes on in the future. it was a fun night.

I do want to plan an SCMB group trip to Vegas!!! Nancy and I were talking about later August the other night - which of course sounded fun - but now I'm kinda thinking maybe early November? Only because so many people have a lot going on in the summer - and November is when we start getting excited about the next SC (and it's about 1/2 way between SCs)

I dunno....thoughts? Maybe this needs it's own thread... :)
