Friday Kings game Watch (if there is a game)

Figured this needed it's own thread.

So we really won't know until the games actually start if there will even be a game on Friday. We may know by Saturday - but we might not know until Monday or Wednesday! Argh! All depends on who wins what.


I could try calling some of the places I listed in the other thread to see if any of them would be showing the game.


However - UKNOWME and Tractorpilot both offered their dishes in their RVs. 1st - are you guys really cool with a bunch of people raiding your RV(s) to watch the game? If so - refresh my memory - are you both in ED2? And - if we do raid - of course we'll bring ya some beer....jello shots....!!??

Nicole / IHML / Carly / usc (who am I forgetting) - What do you all think? Watching in an RV if they're really up for letting us raid would probably be the easiest bet. We wouldn't have to worry about drinking / driving or trying to figure out getting a cab... I'm still up for finding a place if that's what everyone prefers....

IHML...last year after the Jackalope a few of us went out to a sports bar that was on Hwy 111 just east of Monroe. They had really good food and a bunch of T.V.'s all over. I can't remember the name. Feiny went too, maybe he remembers the name?

Personally, I'd rather stay on site and watch from SC.

Even if we go to a bar that has the game playing, most likely they will not be playing the audio from the game -- especially if there are other games being shown at the same time.

If we watch at someone's RV we can listen and watch the game and not pay for overpriced food/drinks.

Yeah I'm a hockey fan I've became a Ducks fan mainly because they are the closest team & it seems every gang banger in our area wears a kings jersey. But I am rooting for the Kings cause they are still in it. I haven't been able to follow hockey that closely in recent years due to work schedule.

I don't mind a bunch of people in my RV @ all. The more the merrier. Idk what channel the game will be on hockey use to come on versus but directv doesn't cover it so hopefully it will be on a major network or fox sports. Like I said I can bring the big screen if needed

Hey Jacob do You have the that's dish mounted on the RV or a portable 1 on a tripod.I just recently bought a new slimline (That I need to get out & test run to make sure it works) I also have My old dish the tripod isn't all that good on the old 1 but You're welcome to use that 1 or if we are close enough to each other all we would have to do is run a coax from 1 dish to both units. I'm headed out the door to go to ths Sand drags right now are You going I also have a meter maybe that would help You get it dialed in I'll stick it in My saddlebag incase Yolur out there MY # is 951 492 9471. Everyone I knew was already going too. I finally found someone who's a fan and didn't have a ticket. I really want to make sure my playoff tickets go to real Kings fans. It's such a special experience for a true fan. And who knows, it could be another eight years before the next time. But I seriously doubt it :)

I've got a ton of crap in my car right now -- no room in the back seats. If I have time to clear my car out after packing and all the other crap I need to do before leaving I can give you a ride one way or round trip.

As things stand I think I'm going to leave early-ish Friday. If you meet me at my place your car will be there when I bring you back after the game and you can have your stuff with you. Or I can just give you a ride from SC to the game (assuming I clear my car out) and then you can handle transportation from Staples and getting your stuff from Amy.

This goes for both you and Carly.

Missing a Kings home playoff game would make less sense than missing one day of Stagecoach.

many of us understand...!! this is exciting for hockey fans. Those of us that are Angels fans felt the same way in 2002 for the World Series. Nothing was more important than going to those games, and I did go to all of them.

For me this is easy. Ain't nothing happening at SC that I haven't seen a million times and won't see a million more. Playoff hockey, well there is nothing in the world like playoff hockey. And game SIX? Shiiiiiit... Maybe I'd consider missing if it was game one but this is a complete no brainer for me.
