Hi Stagecoach fans,
Global Inheritance a 501c3 non-profit organization that promotes environmental and social awareness in creative ways, is looking for volunteers interested in helping out at Stagecoach.
We are looking for volunteers to help us run Global Inheritance’s High Plains Mixer at this year’s Stagecoach Music Festival from April 23rd thru April 25th, 2010.
At the High Plains Mixer, festival-goers will be running on hamster wheels, riding bikes, turning hand cranks, riding seesaws among other things to power DJ turntables and sound system. You will be working within the festival to assist in all facets of the program. You may be asked to help coordinate DJs and waivers, provide information to festival-goers, or other outreach duties. Volunteers should be energetic, friendly, good at communicating, and skilled at working with large crowds.
You’ll be required to commit to helping out on all three days of the festival (Friday, April 23 to Sunday, April 25), about six to eight hours per day. In exchange, you will receive breaks to see bands, a camping and festival pass (with VIP access granted to the best volunteers), and one meal per day.
This is a great resume builder and opportunity to educate people about alternative energy, have some fun mixing country music, and to gain a unique perspective on festival production. For more info about Global Inheritance at Stagecoach, please go to www.globalinheritance.org
REQUIREMENTS: Arrival by afternoon of Friday, April 23. Must be able to commit to all days (no single days!) To ensure that the program runs smoothly, we also ask for a cash deposit equal to the ticket price, which is fully refundable at the end of the festival for reliable volunteers.
